Advantages Advantages smell, silky, shiny hair

    Disadvantages Disadvantages cost

I've tried a lot of shampoos, conditioners and hair treatments in my time, but I've never used anything that comes to close to topping the TIGI haircare range. A BIT OF BACKGROUND TIGI Bed Head was launched with the creation of a wax hair stick. Much like a Pritt Stick in design, this hair wax enabled people to create funky, tousled locks and transformed the 'just out of bed' look from something you would rather avoid into a fashion statement. Aimed at trendy young things, the concept very quickly became a hit. Celebrities the world over swore by the products and the name became a phenomenon ... more

Advantages Advantages A large bottle at 750ml; the easy to use pump dispenser; very good value at TK maxx

Disadvantages Disadvantages Leaves my hair too lacklustre to use often; I don't like the scent; expensive at full price.

Having bought the larger sized bottle of Tigi's Catwalk Oatmeal and Honey shampoo at 750 ml, this is probably the biggest bottle of shampoo I've ever used. A rather rash purchase too, mostly I try to use a smaller or trial size first in case a hair care product doesn't agree with my tresses. However, the chance to buy this at half price in TK Maxx proved too enticing to ignore. Described as "comfort food for damaged hair" this should be ideal for me. My hair is regularly highlighted at my hairdressers which can dry it out, as can using a hair dryer or GHD's which I also use. The promise that ... more

Advantages Advantages Smells delicious, makes hair smell clean and fresh.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive, not as easily accessable as regular shampoos

Oatmeal & Honey shampoo from the Tigi Catwalk range. This shampoo claims to be "comfort food for damaged hair", and it truly is!! I'd not really heard of or come across this product until about 3 years ago when my regular hair salon used this on my hair. It was the smell that immediately captured my attention. The second the shampoo was applied to my hair I got a waft of what I would say is one of the most pleasant smells I have ever come across. It has a delicious creamy smell like toffee ice cream. It's incredibly sweet and fresh. Honestly, it smells good enough to eat! I immediately quizzed ... more

Advantages Advantages Hair lovely and shiny afterwards

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Usually expensive

Tigi Honey and Oatmeal shampoo is designed for hair that is dry, frizzy and in need of some TLC. Mine is all three, and I don't suppose that I help matters by using straighteners on it. But there you go, we suffer for fashion eh? I have been debating whether to buy this for quite some time now, but haven't bothered due to the cost. I read a few reviews on it, all of which have recommended it, and by chance saw an advert in a magazine for the shampoo and conditioner - a twin pack containing a 750ml bottle of each for £14.95. So, I made an executive decision and bought a pack. Tigi products are ... more

Advantages Advantages moisturises hair, makes it feel thick and fuller

Disadvantages Disadvantages The cost and the smell is a little too sweet, doesn't lather up much

I like trying out different shampoos and this is the most recent one I have tried out. This shampoo is from Bead Head, Tigi and is from the Catwalk range. The shampoo is an oatmeal and honey shampoo. It is meant to be comfort food for damaged hair. Unfortunately I do fall in to this category since I have coloured my hair quite a lot and the ends of my hair are quite dry! The shampoo comes in two sizes, a 750ml size and a 400ml size. I bought the 750ml size, which is nice and big! The bottle is a see-through green colour, so you can see how much shampoo is left in the bottle. It has a large 'C' ... more
