This shampoo claims to be "comfort food for damaged hair", and it truly is!!
I'd not really heard of or come across this product until about 3 years ago when my regular hair salon used this on my hair. It was the smell that immediately captured my attention. The second the shampoo was applied to my hair I got a waft of what I would say is one of the most pleasant smells I have ever come across. It has a delicious creamy smell like toffee ice cream. It's incredibly sweet and fresh. Honestly, it smells good enough to eat! I immediately quizzed my hair dresser about the product and left with 2 huge bottles of the shampoo and conditioner. This was a while ago now so I can't remember the exact price or size. It was pricey stuff but I was chuffed with my purchase. I have been using the product regularly ever since.
About the product
Helps to improve chemically treated or damaged hair with Vitamins A, B and E while enhancing moisture and shine. The soothing aroma invigorates your mind body and soul. It is used the same as a regular shampoo, lather in to wet hair and rinse.
How much does it cost??
It's not the easiest stuff to get hold of as high street shops don't sell it. You can buy from most hair salons or you can buy it easily on line. It comes in varying bottle sizes; the 350ml bottle is around £8.00. This is very expensive for a shampoo but it lasts for a while. I must admit though, I don't use this shampoo on every hair wash as it is expensive and I find it hard to justify spending this sort of cash on my hair when I have a young child! Believe me though, I would if I could!
The advantages
As highly emphasised previously, this smells absolutely delicious. There is more to this product though than the smell. It lathers up really well and makes your hair feel and smell lovely and clean. It lasts a long time. I was brought a 350ml bottle for Christmas and I still have 1/2 of the bottle left. A bottle usually lasts me about 4 months - not using on every wash though as stated above.
The disadvantages
If you use this shampoo you really have to use the Tigi Honey and Oatmeal conditioner so you don't counteract that lovely smell. The conditioner is about £12 for a 250ml bottle so you're looking at about £20 quid a go! That is expensive for a shampoo and conditioner!
You can't buy from a regular high street store.
Overall I have yet to find a shampoo to beat this one! I am always recommending to my friends who have all commented on the lovely smell. Quite a few of my friends even use the product themselves now. It really is worth the cost. I usually find that shampooing hair is a bit of a chore but not when I use this stuff! I really enjoying using this shampoo and love what it does for my hair. It is recommended for chemically treated hair but I think everyone should give it a go! I love this product!
