Well how did i come across this conditioner above all the others out there that promise to do the same?
That's easy i was taking a trip to the hairdressers to have my dark brown hair cut and i decided another change was in order and this time i would have birght blonde highlights put in......now my hair has been a bitlike Jason's coat of many colours lol it was red and black a few years ago then i toned it down to just red with blonde streaks then red,blonde and pink streaks then i decided what the hey i would go blonde and i mean all the way platinum blonde!! I have naturally very dark brown hair and for the past 5 years it has been coloured and bleached like mad so it's not it's normal colour all that dying and bleaching has taken it's toll and well the blonde was the final straw for my poor hair after 2 months of my gorgeous colour my hair was snapping of and was brittle and dull so i dyed it back to dark brown and left it till now…………6 months on i dared to get it cut(it was already shoulder length and too short for me lol).
When I turned up for my appointment the senior stylist had a look through my hair and was optimistic about highlights she cut a chunk form the back and took it away for a dye test an hour later I returned and it was an ok colour but a bit dry and straw like so sadly no highlights all over but…..on the up she did give me them in the underneath at the back of my hair where it is much healthier……Whilst being pampered I chatted away and discovered a few secrets to get my hair healthy ready for highlights in a few months the big secret was Tigi S-factor smoothing conditioner….hmm what is this miracle, well let me show you……
What’s it like and how much does it cost?
The bottle I purchased was 200ml and rather large (I thought it had about 300 ml lol) it is a big awkward bottle that could have been made a lot smaller and neater. It is a rectangular shape that does have difficulty standing up in my opinion, it is sort of a clear colour so you can see how much of the product you have left(very helpful)it has the tigi s-factor logo on the front .The conditioner itself is very very thick and white in colour. The smell is heaven! sort of a fruity floral yummy smell and once your hair is washed with it no matter what you put on it the smell of the yummy conditioner lasts a few days in fact my partner commented on the delightful smell when he walked in the door(and yes he uses it too for his hair).
It cost me about £12.55 but I was told to either look on eBay or watch for specials at the salon, I have seen it on eBay for £9.99 but the p+p brings it to about the same although I am opting for the salon size 750 ml which you can get for around£25 inc p+p well that is a huge saving and for the initial larger outlay well worth it. The average 200ml bottle being used 3 times a week with shoulder length hair like mine should last you a while as it is very concentrated and only a small amount is needed.

That’s it you just kinda have to guess how much you need but as I have said remember it is thick and concentrated so only a small amount so it works out economical.
Well what did it do?
My hair as I have said is in bad nick but only on the top layers where it snapped so I needed a super powered conditioner to get it the help and tlc it needs, I usually spend about £5 on a strong conditioner (usually tresemme) so this was an extravagant buy for me and I prayed it worked (although the gorgeous smell alone was worth it eh).
I was my hair twice a week and leave it in for around 5-10 mins in the warm bathroom , I find that my hair is a lot smoother as it is very thick and usually very frizzy when washed, now when I dry it and straighten it it feels like silk in my hands, it is so soft and it looks fabulous the shine is amazing…I always wondered how other people had glossy deep brown hair huh this must be their secret, my hair is usually dull and lifeless now it is glossy, shiny, strong and healthy looking in only a month of using this product!!! Can’t wait to see it in a year! And my highlights look bright and shiny too instead or brassy and frizzy.
I am definitely an advocate if it and indeed have been browsing other s-factor items in the range and already have a shopping list made 
