That fine line between Children and Adults material - not many can write something that balances on it. Particularly if it involves humour.
Harry Hill's second book tells the story of Tim The Tiny Horse who, and you won't need reminding, is a very small horse! This hardback of short stories takes us through the day to day dilemma's of Tim and his best friend Fly (no prizes for guessing what he is)...
Tim tries to get a job on TV, takes a trip into town, tries the internet, gets a girlfiend and takes an interest in reality TV.
The clever twist in each story is that there's a 'lesson' that's been learnt by Tim at the end - which may help kids learn about various subjects... but really it's the humour that stands out. In typical style Harry uses his imagination in only a way that he can - I laughed from the opening paragraph right up until the end.
A one off.
