...so I decided to try Del Monte. It was 39p for a tin of pineapple rings. There were 4 rings in the tin, I discovered when I eventually got the tin open. The tin had a ring pull and it was too tight to open. I tried all ways and the ring pull eventually snapped. I had to use a tin opener but that only opened half of the tin lid and then there were thin strips of metal hanging off it. I pulled and pulled and tried to use the tin opener again and ended ...

Have something juicy in the mornings!

Advantages: Easily available
Disadvantages: Quite pricey and not to everyone's taste

...tin itself has the usual Del Monte green and red colours, as well as a picture of a whole yellow grapefruit and a slice of grapefruit. The large tin may be inconvenient for some people but I find that tinned fruit keeps for a couple of days once it has been opened if it's tightly sealed. The segments of white grapefruit in this tin were quite large but they broke fairly easily. A lot of grapefruit is stringy but this was quite ok, in terms of texture. ...
