Batchelors Super Noodles: I love the chicken ones best!
Advantages: Great packaging makes them stand out, good price, delicious taste, I love the flavouring. Disadvantages: High in fat & calories... Oh well!
...foil fresh packet with the Batchelors logo, a picture of some super noodles & the usual nutritional information and ingredients etc. Inside the packet is 100g of noodles and a little silver packet of flavouring (dependant on what pack you've purchased of course). I do not following the cooking instructions precisely on the packet and here is how I make mine: I break my noodles in to four or six pieces and then put them in a bowl, top with cold water ... ...I then break them up more and put them back in for another 5 minutes. Once a little of the water has disappeared and the noodles are very well cooked I add the flavouring to the water/noodles, mix around and then place back in the microwave for another 5-6 minutes. The noodles are then almost green in colour and every single noodle has lots of chicken flavouring all over. They are no longer just soft like standard noodles they are now gooey and delicious ...

Home made pasta bake to take a pride in
Advantages: Very convenient and economical Disadvantages: None
HOMEPRIDE PASTA BAKE
I cook a lot of pasta based meals, and I usually make my meals all from scratch.
When I found Homepride Pasta Bake in Asda at the great price of 2 for £2 I thought that they would be well worth trying.
I have used them several years ago when we were on a caravan holiday and I remembered them being satisfactory. There were also several varieties for me to choose from
Tomato and Mild Chilli Red Pepper and Tomato Mediterranean ... ... APPEARANCE
The Homepride Pasta Bake sauce comes in a clear glass jar with a blue screw top lid and a blue coloured label on it. The jar holds 500g sauce and serves 3-4 people.
The label has the Homepride logo on the front of it along with the name of the sauce and a picture of the prepared pasta bake
The different colours of the sauces can be seen clearly through the glass.
On the back of the jar are the normal nutritional information, ...

...I have been eating Batchelors Pasta n Sauces for many years now since an old friend introduced me to them! There are loads of different flavours; Chicken & Mushroom, Cheese, Leek & Ham, Macaroni Cheese, Mild Cheese * Broccoli, Tomato & Herb and Chicken & Roasted Garlic. Family Fun With Fajitas
Advantages: Encourages Healthy Eating Disadvantages: Can Be Messy
...a try. The product being Old El Passo Original Smoky BBQ Fajita Dinner Kit. The product itself cost £1.20 from my local Morrisons which I thought was extremely reasonably priced. It comes in the distinctive red and yellow packaging associated with this brand, sporting the logo prominently on the front again in red. It also states that this is the Fajita version from their vast range of products which I noticed were similarly packaged so be sure to ... ...by an over-eager six year old however even he managed to master the art of rolling his fajita to perfection by the end of the meal. The taste test, well in my opinion you really cant go wrong with chicken onion and peppers stir-fried. The spice mix however added a lovely subtle barbequed flavour which was absolutely delicious. The salsa was also extremely moreish containing lovely thick chunks. I have to say that I am not a lover of anything too ...

tesco value noodles
Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: packaging adequate
Reading my reviews you would think I eat all day - well you'd almost be right! I often eat these noodles for lunch so thought I would review them for you, so you might have a try! I work in an office with no microwave but access to hot water so I have to be as creative as I can with hot food choice. I went for the obvious pot noodle for a while until my friend got me on to just normal noodles. I had assumed these needed to boil or be micro waved ... ...up and cover with hot water then foil and leave for 5 mins voila hot noodles!
After trying a few I finally settled on these for a number of reasons.
1 - Calories the calories are quite low just 145 per 100g 2- They cook really quickly and easily 3- The flavouring is just nice not to over powering 4 They are ridiculously cheap - 8p Firstly this has got to be the cheapest meal in the office - sometimes I only have ½ a pack!! When comparing them to ...
