I'm really impressed by the Tiny Love range of colourful, developmental toys for babies. And if you're looking for a playmat, the Gymini Super Deluxe Lights & Music model has to be one of the best (though not the cheapest) on the market. Described by the manufacturer as "a multi-sensory play environment", it lives up to its promise. I had a look around for prices online and the average new is around £44.99 (not inc. p&p) from stockists such as Mothercare. ...clip the toys to, and Tiny Love has a range of extra toys to enhance the gym. There would be nothing to stop you hanging your own favourite toys either. Considering I got mine second hand, you couldn't really tell. The gym is extremely hardwearing, machine washable (except for the electronic parts), and easily stored away. I got hold of this gym second hand throught an NCT sale. I think its quite wonderful. My baby has a couple of other gyms too, but this one keeps him happy and content for the longest!! The gym consists of a playmat with a removalbe electronic bit which has flashing lights and plays music - mozart and nursery rhymes. ...of the animals does something different like a squeek, vibrates, crinkles etc. Also you get a mirror that connects to one of the arches.
