Tiny is made by Tolo (www.tolotoys.com) and is suitable from birth. To describe Tiny: the majority of Tiny is purple with soft, velour type fabric. Tiny is not suitable for a washing machine - sponge clean only and it comes up well.
Our daughter loves to play with Tiny and, because of its size, she can really get to grips with it, grabbing and pulling. She seems fascinated by the bright colours and hasn't been bored with it yet - it gets played with on a daily basis and she has had it since birth! ... more

It's large ears are crinkly to the touch and striped yellow/orange/red/blue. It has a jingle ball inside its head and two small white tusks, and lovely long curled trunk. The two front paws each contain a squeeker and are brightly coloured using green, blue, orange, red and yellow. The two rear paws are the same when it comes to colour, one paw has a flap on the end with a butterfly pattern on it which opens to reveal a mirror, the other paw has a magnet inside and a blue and red snail which magnetises itself to the paw - the snail is also attached to the paw by soft cord so that baby cannot take it away. Tiny's belly is yellow in colour with red spots and a colourful dragonfly is fastened to it by velcro - again, the dragonfly is also attached to the belly by soft cord.
Tiny is not suitable for a washing machine - sponge clean only and it comes up well.

to children as she is so bright and colourful. These bright colours and friendly design have been mimicked on the feeding set.
* The plate has a picture of Elmer in the middle surrounded by trees, the rim of the plate which is slightly raised so as to keep all the food together is patterned with the same colourful squares.
* the bowl follows a similar design to that of the plate with a picture of Elmer in the middle although it is a different picture and the rim of the bowl is covered in the little colourful squares
* The spoon has a tiny picture of the elephant and then up the handle are the brightly coloured squares
* The cup has a picture of Elmer on both sides standing on some grass. The inside of the mug is white although at the bottom there is a tiny picture too so babies can see as they drink their juice the picture ...
Advantages: Enables baby to sit unaided, so handy for parents. Disadvantages: Can be dangerous as baby becomes more active, only got a few months use, quite expensive.
The Bumbo is a seat that enables babies to sit unaided. It can be used as soon as baby can lift their head - I would say at around 3 or 4 months. The Bumbo should stop being used when the child is able to remove themselves from the Bumbo - the company suggest at around 12 - 14 months but I would suggest around 11 months depending on how active and developed your baby is.
The Bumbo is deep and has high sides and high back for support. There is also a support between the legs to keep the legs apart and prevent baby from falling fowards. Embossed on the front is the name 'Bumbo' and a picture of an elephant. They come in one size and are small enough to make tiny babies feel snug and enclosed but are also very spacious (my 2 year old can still fit inside!). It should be used on a flat surface, at ground level and not up high (chairs ...

Advantages: Good to spend time with your kids Disadvantages: Butterflies everywhere all at once, game shortlived
This was bought for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas because she loves butterflies and we thought she would enjoy seeing the butterflies shoot out of the elephant's trunk - whoever thought up that idea must have been high at the time...
Anyway, the game consists of a blue plastic elephant which holds the butterflies (tiny little pieces of material with a twist in the middle to make them look like butterflies), and inside this elephant is a fan which blows the butterflies out when you turn it on. You attach the (very) long trunk, which is made from a kind of extra thick carrier bag material, to the elephant before you switch it on, then the butterflies come flying out of this trunk.
The aim of the game is to catch as many of the butterflies in your net as you can (4 nets are provided). The one with the most at the end wins ...
