I brought this activitymat for my daughter when she was 6 months old off a friend who had two bought for her daughter for Christmas. She recommended it as she has two boys aswell and cannot always be in the same place all the time with her daughter. It has been a god send to us as when baby rolls off the mat it calls "Where's baby hiding?" which signals that baby is no longer playing on the mat and could be up to all sorts of mischeif!
At first my daughter was content playing with the birds in the centre of the activitymat. You pull them down and they sing "there are three birdies in a tree" etc etc which is a very catchy tune and my daughter loves listening to it time and time again.
Then there is the Ladybird on one end. You turn it around and it counts to 6 and sings another tune "counting's one of our favourite tricks 1 ...

Bath time is fun time for babies! They love to play with their toys and splash around but there's always that element of worry knowing that your baby is playing in water and that the bath is very slippy so you do need to keep your baby as safe as possible.
The usual bath mats work really well but they are really plain and boring looking and, from what I remember when we ewre younger, they used to go mouldy very quickly especially the white ones!
I saw these Clippasafe mini bath mats and thought they looked so much nicer and decided to give them a go and see if they would work okay for us and if they would be fun for our baby too!

Just finished a shop at babys r us and have come home with a fun new thing waiting for the arrival of my new baby.
It is the Tippitoes baby bouncer which i have seen in action with my friends little girl and just had to buy one.
It is a bouncer that you hang in your doorway and can amuse your baby from 3 months old. Weight up to 25lbs and is medically approved which cant be bad.
It has a blue padded supportive seat and brightly rainbow coloured straps.
My friends little girl has so much fun in hers and is so ready for a nice long nap after a 15 minute session in her one. Excellent gentle exercise for your baby while you sit back and enjoy you well deserved cup of tea!
Stacks neatly away at the end of the day and the seat is fully washable on 40c.
