Disadvantages Unreliable, slow
This service is just so unreliable. Sometimes it is impossible to get authenticated by the Tiscali servers (stalls at \"Verifying username and password\"). If you are lucky enough to get connected, browsing and mail frequently fail and disconnections are frequent. It is palpably worse at peak and holiday times when there are a lot of users online which gives weight to the diagnosis that their server network is unable to cope with the customer base. Speeds at peak times are abysmal. To my mind, Ofcom and Trading Standards should be investigating this ISP. If a water supply failed in this way there would be public outcry ... a contract is a contract, whatever the product and the internet is fast becoming one of life\'s essentials.
