Oil is good for you - The magic of tea tree

Advantages: Can be used for just about every discomfort; smells lovely
Disadvantages: very expensive

Tea Tree seems to work wonders for everything with me and there are a range of different products that contain this essential oil to perform different healing properties. Tea Tree is a clear, very strong natural oil taken from the leaves of a plant called the 'Melaleuca alternifolia' along the streams (er, and swamps) in Australia. You can buy it in concentrated form (albeit very expensive as you can imagine) but most product such as shampoo's. lotions and antispetics which contain low does of tea tree still work wonders. I will point out just to cover my own back, that despite the label of 'tea', this oil is non-ediable! ***** Types of tea tree products; uses; health benefits and effects 1. Incense - I usepure natural tea tree oil iin my intense burner at night. An intense burner is a porcelin pot with a hole in the middle ...

Review of Tea Tree

Stick to pure tea tree oil and save your face

Advantages: Nice smell, nice packaging
Disadvantages: Poor exfoliator, expensive

I switched to simply using a regular moisturising facial wash and applying Body Shop pure tea tree oil to problem areas, and my skin improved quite quickly. ---Value for money--- A bit pricey given that there are other facial washes, including exfoliators, which are cheaper. Currently is priced at GBP 3-4. ---Availability--- In all Body Shop outlets (UK and Australia). ---Summary--- Not a particularly good product for me, and not great value for money; perhaps best enjoyed by those who regularly use exfoliating face washes and are looking to try ...

Tea Tree Oil The eighth wonder of the world

Advantages: Multiskilling.
Disadvantages: Price

The Eighth Wonder of the World. Yes another over the top description of a product, that probably most of you haven’t even heard of! Tea Tree Oil, otherwise known as Melaleuca Alternifolia, is an underrated marvel of today’s world. It’s a shrub native to Australia, which, for thousands of years, was made into poultices and suchlike, by the Aborigines, for the purposes of healing wounds and other skin conditions. Nowadays however, you just pop to Superdrug, or QVC if you want a bargain in the old Tea Tree Oil department. One 25ml bottle contains the equivalent of four, 18 month old Tea Trees, which have been processed by steam distillation to remove the essential oil. Several companies manufacture Tea Tree Oil, but I like Australian Bodycare best, as it is 100% pure Melaleuca Alternifolia, and they have huge ...
