Titan Quest (TQ) is a Diablo series type of game using a Greek Myth as the plot of the story. TQ is about creating a character that literally can kill as much as much as monsters as quickly as possible, with weapons of choice, skills and special items that add bonuses to your character's status. TQ is quick paced game where player will be faced with minions of evil in a large number at the same time. There are tons of weapons and items and skills such as armor, shields, special bonus enhancing stones etc that can be found throughout the game. And these items can make a difference between the life and death of your character. This means there are many possible ways to tweak your character from a tough tank killing machine to a powerful spell caster that can zap a group of monsters in a single blow. The Gold edition of TQ is a compilation of the original Titan Quest and it's expansion pack Titan Quest : immortal throne which has extra storyline and some in game upgrades.
When starting the game, players will be asked to choose the gender of the hero and the name. As the game starts, players will be be brought to the exploration screen which is mainly the only screen that players will see throughout the entire game (except when opening the skill tree screen). Controlling the character is very simple, as it's point and click based game. Right click on a the screen to move around the character and right click will make the character activates the active skill that player choose from the available skills. Your character has status points which determines the character's overall strength either physically or magically. Every time the character level up from gaining experience points, players will be given an opportunity to strengthen up your character and and his/her skills.
Health : The character's life force, when it reaches zero, the character dies and will be resurrected on the last activated fountain of rebirth or the town.
Energy : The character's mana points, needed to use skills. No need to say but I will say it anyway :-) , when it reaches zero your characters can not use any skills.
Strength : Increases physical melee damage and piecing damage only
Intelligence : Increases energy regeneration rate, and all elemental damage (magic damage).
Dexterity : Increases chance to land critical hits and chance to avoid critical hits, chance to block with shield and piercing damage.
Extra status points and skill points that you gain on every level up are valuable and once you allocate them, it is permanently fixed on the status and skills you choose.
Exploration and combat are the two things that players will encounter very often when playing the game. There is no world map, there's only exploration map which is basically the main screen players will see throughout the game.
The main screen will consists of :
1. Character overall condition : On the upper left side you will the picture of your character, his/her level and the health and energy bar.
2. Map : On the upper right side you will see the map of the current field that you are exploring.
3. Menu bar : On the lower part of the screen you will see a long bard which divided into 3 parts. The left part is "Skill shortcut" where you can place 10 skills with corresponding numbers on your keyboard. If you put a skill on no. 1 when you tap 1 on your keyboard it will activate the skill and ready to use with left click. The middle part is showing the active skills allocated for your left and right mouse button. The left one will always melee attack icon, but the right one is custom-able with right click on it. Right part is a set of icons representing menus such as opening your inventory, quests list, character status, etc.
Skills :
There are 8 different skills mastery in TQ and extra one for the expansion pack making it 9 in total, and each character can choose two of the eight to develop the character. Each mastery contains 20 skills to choose from 6 tiers. Each tier must be unlocked by allocating skill points. If the tier has not been unlocked then the skills cannot be chosen, regardless of the level of the character.
There are active or passive skills, active skills require manually using the skills. Passive skills are put into effect once a skill point is allocated on that skill.
The unlocking of tiers is done by allocating skill points on the tier bar. Each point put into a tier will also have attribute bonuses.
The two skill mastery you choose will determined your character's class. On level 2 you will choose one mastery out of eight, which determines your main class, e.g. fighter, storm caller, etc. Then at level 8 you can choose your secondary mastery, which fixes your class.
Inventory and loot :
Your inventory space is limited and there are tons of items that can be found throughout the game. Item's quality is differentiate by color. There are items that came in a set, which means that will give your character extra bonuses when wearing the full set. Equipments can be tweaked by adding rune stones and alike, these will add extra bonuses to the equipment it's embedded to. Every items have requirements in order for your character to use them, it could be level requirement, strength, dexterity, intelligence, etc. Means that without meeting these requirements your character can't use that item.
When exploring the world of TQ, you will find many shrines scattered throughout the game. These shrines will give you some power boost when activated for a period of time, such as power increase, health regeneration, to the one which will give you experience points increase bonus for each monster that you slain.
The world of TQ is quite vast to explore, and players can always return to the activated town portal in each town using magic portal. And also return back to the spot from whence the character ported from. Without this feature it can be very annoying when you have to walk all the way back to town, trying to report that you have finished a quest to a townspeople. Every time you save and quit, players will be brought back to the last town or last activated fountain of rebirth when players load back into the game.
Graphic : TQ graphic is very well done, it's very detailed and clear, you can see the tall grass and trees moving blown by the wind. Monsters and character designs are nicely done, fits the mythological monsters impressions. The in game environment designs are amazing, very detailed and clear. 8/10 for Graphic
Sound : Sound effects are nicely done by THQ, however the soundtracks aren't that great. 6/10 for the soundtracks and sound effects.
Gameplay : It's quite fun killing minions of monsters with a single lightning bolt and stuff, but after awhile it feels rather boring and monotonous. 7/10 for gameplay.
Replay-ability : Hmm.... not sure about this one, but I think it has rather so so replay-ability. Maybe you will play it again after awhile stored in your cupboard or drawer. 5/10 for this.
Overall this game is still good to play, especially for diablo like game fans. But for me, it's not really my cup of tea. As it gets too boring and monotonous after reaching a certain point in game. But don't let my opinion prevent you playing this game, who knows.... maybe you will love this game :-) cheers! happy playing.
Advantages: good graphics, variety of levels, a big game Disadvantages: too identical to Diablo, not much to choose during character creation
Titan Quest is a game which reminds me of Diablo, which was one of the games which kept me busy for a long time. Unlike Diablo, Titan Quest is more of a mythological game where player seems to be fighting the creatures from the Greek mythology as well as a few others. This time, it is not about fighting the king of the demons, the Diablo. But it will surely bring the old memories of Diablo back, from the very first look itself. But Titan Qest may ... ...always make an impact, and Titan Quest is in no way different.

Advantages: Solid hack and slask, varied scenery, enemies, equipment, mastery system Disadvantages: Repetitive, very similar to games that have gone before, limited customisation
This is a good game with varied settings to explore and varied equipment (of differing usefullness) you can pick up.
It's set initially in Greece and you then get to travel further afield with completion of a chapter. The enemies and scenery change to reflect the part of the world you are in.
For people who like collecting in these types of games you can find equipment sets, that as you pick up the matching pieces convey bonuses. You can also pick ... ...the same type are combined make complete relics (conferring an additional bonus) that when installed into equipment (either as the complete or shards) confer bonuses. Only one type can be added to a piece of equipment though you can keep adding shards to make it complete.

...across the bactrian mountain.
Titan quest is fun, from diffrent aspects, one of the simple privilege is you can choose your character, customize it upto certain degree and the levels are unlockable,it's all based on difficulty level, the higher the difficulty, lesser your resistance against the type of attack are and harder the game becomes but also higher are the rewards, which is quite challanging and fun and .You wouldn't want to miss a chance to ... ...you?
And where Titan Quest really shines at is,at choosing mastery.Mastery,as the word itself radiates it's meaning,it's perfecting your skills in certain fields, like warfare, defense, hunter, rogue etc. You can learn maximum two mastery, combining both you'll have a powerful bonuses and an awesome skills to cast against your enemies. In Titan Quset,You're not a born warior,by the end of the game you're a hero beyond all others but there's a start part ...

Advantages: Good entertaining fun for hours Disadvantages: After a while it can get repetitive
...games, such as Diablo, and Titan Quest is a game that redefines the genre.....in a sense. The game prides itself on giving the user the ability the annihilate their enemies with the click of one mouse button, and although this has its appeal, it seems to get highly frustrating after a while. Despite this the game is brilliant, there are many different places that the user must travel through in order to complete their set tasks, and these areas are ... ...The leveling system within Titan Quest is simple but effective, as it allows the player to choose up to 2 masteries, these are like character classes and define what skills they can have. There are 8 masteries to choose from, which gives for a large amount of skills to choose from, and players may wish to play through the game with severeal different characters if they wish to experience all the masteries. As i said, the leveling system is very simple ...
