Of course a mirror copy with better graphics would be annoying and thanks god, Immortal Throne is not that. From Diablo they just got the basic rules that were necessary to make this game a good one.

Required for Multiplayer:
-1 set of discs per computer
-Internet: Cable modem, DSL modem or better for online multiplayer play
-Network: LAN or broadband WAN Although it says windows XP i think it performs well on Vista also, if your configuration is much higher than the recommended because Vista is quite taxing on configuration. The graphics of this game are quite awesome and they are well improved from its predecessor also if you want to play the game at its uppermost limit you will need a bit better configuration than the one they recommend, but this is obviously true for any game since they recommend the configuration that would allow you to play the game on medium settings without any problem lag or latency. The gameplay is what makes this release a better one than the original since they have many improvements like:
10 additional character levels - you can now go up to level 75 and you'll find better items. 8 new character classes - there's an entirely new skill mastery (dream mastery) i won't comment on it so you can discover for yourselves(i for one am very pleased with this new skill) which you can combine with existing skills to create 8 new character classes. You now have artifacts and enchanters, artifacts are a new type of equipment that can give you very powerful abilities and increase many of your attributes and skills(very powerful ones on legendary difficulty),but with all this, its very hard to create them since you have to first find a recipe and whats on it and then with the help of the new enchanter you can make it.You can find enchanters in mostly every important city or settlement. Recipes are a list of completed relics or charms or even other smaller artifacts that you need to have to create the respective artifact. There are many new unique items and the best thing seen in an RPG - Caravans where you can store your items with the BIG improvment that you have the option of leaving them in a Transfer Area that allows other single player characters to take them and use them. This is especially useful since in RPG games you always find more unique items for a different character class then for the one your currently playing with(sorry if i messed you up, its kind of hard to explain in words that everyone would understand but its a very superb option very rarely seen in RPG games). The adventure now takes place in a darker and more sinister environment in the underworld of Hades. You will encounter many villains and heroes from the Greek mythology: Cerberus, Agamemnon, Achilles, Odysseus etc. Every new location is darker and are more detailed and graphically more impressive than the original ones but still i like more the first ones. Its bad points from my opinion are in the original skill changes they have made. They made some of them worst and some of them better, so they are all equal, like they do in all expansions, equality is annoying(joking of course) but this is the only flaw(if you can say its a flaw). In short if you liked the first one you'll like this one more.
