Review of "Tivoli World, Malaga"
Basically if you're on the Costa del Sol, catching a train to Benalmadena is possibly the best way to get there. Tivoli World is only a couple of minutes from the station.
When leaving the station, turn and face the Mountains, follow the paved pedestrian area on your right hand side, after a minute you will see a large Café/bar stretching across the pavement and around a corner, follow this direction, up a small street until you come to Tivoli World car park, turn to your left and head towards the car park entrance/exit, there on your right is Tivoli World.
For this fee you have access to the gardens, numerous bars and restaurants and several free shows.
As you make your way up the hill. On you left is a superb English restaurant, with English staff, here you will find some of the best Fish and Chips you'll ever have, and I recommend it as a good place for lunch, they are very reasonably priced as well.
If you wish to take the rides, you buy a ticket for aprox $10.00 Euro. The 'Supertivolino', this gives you unlimited access to more than 30 rides or you can purchase any amount of single tickets. Some rides have age and height restrictions for safety reasons.
Also at this point is the toilets,(they are spotless clean) with all the facilities you may need.
On past this point, brings you into a Western style arena, where you will find Western orientated rides, a large seating area and stage where shows are held on a regular basis.
Following this route around seemed to be the best option. As you make your way up hill and around the grounds,If walking isn't your thing, or any Grandparents thinking of going there is a small train, which runs from the bottom by the main entrance and will drop you of at the top of the park, then you have the option of see-in and using everything going down hill. Cost of the train is $1.00 Euro per person.
A few of the attractions include, Big Wheel, Bumper Cars, Roller Coaster and Log Flume, but there is many more. You can have your photograph taken with the many characters that you will come across; the results can be purchased from the main entrance/exit before leaving.
Also at the main entrance/exit is a souvenir shop for all your days' memories. All in all a very good day out, and at a reasonable price, certainly not to be missed.
Tickets are normally also available from Hotel receptions and numerous high street tour operators as well as the main entrance. If you wish to go by car, car park fees are $1.00 Euro for the day,
There are also local buses available to the entrance, and of course numerous Taxi's all along the Costa will take you there.
