    Introduction~ I have two young sons aged 6 and 7 years who unfortunately seem to have inherited my 'poorly throat' gene. When my elder son Kieran caught one of the many colds going around in his class a few weeks ago he also got a bit of a chesty cough thrown in for good measure. As a mum I deemed it to be related directly to his cold and felt he didn't need a trip to the doctors, but as I was passing our local pharmacy I popped in and had a word with the chemist to see what product(s) they would suggest.
