Advantages: The Looks Disadvantages: Everything else
...you like dosnt match. Also the tray that catches crums is not that good as crums still escape all over the work surface. At a very expensive price this dualit toaster is very poor ! beware dont buy!
i would reccomend something less expensive and more reliable like phillips. ...

Advantages: Basically the advantage is the way it looks! Disadvantages: Uneven toasting after 3 weeks use
...We also trusted the brand Dualit as we have previously owned a reliable toaster fromthis company. It does LOOK good in our kitchen, however if I'd wanted art I'd have bought a picture! After just 3 weeks of use (it was working great to start with) it now has started to toast unevenly. There is nothing worse than a piece of toast which is light on one side and charred in areas on the other - yuk!
(ok so there are LOTS of things worse than that - ... ...don't know if ours is just a dodgy element or something but I'm not impressed ....At least I can use it to check my hair whilst cooking....It is very shiny...maybe I could move it to the bathroom and my husband could use it as a shaving mirror?
Any other suggestions? Answers on a postcard please.... ...

Advantages: perfect toast every time, easy to master, easy to clean, toasts from frozen Disadvantages: price
...We paid £130 for the Dualit 40354 from Comet because it fitted in perfectly with our new kitchen and had 4 individual slots allowing the toasting of 8 small pieces of bread at once.
The picture here on Ciao is identical to our model, looking beautiful in chrome, however the 40354 is available in several different shapes and styles, the ugliest in my opinion being the biege ceramic design. Compared with other toasters we have had over the years the ... ...and 36 centimetres in depth. It is massive but just looks amazingly cool. I just couldn't picture our kitchen now without the toaster dominating the work surface.
As far as gadgets and super features go the 40354 is pretty poor, with just a browning adjustment that goes from making the bread crispy to flame grilled and charcoaled. The best option is the cook from frozen selection which toasts bread from frozen leaving the toast tasting like it had ...

Advantages: looks fab, toasts evenly for a variety of products Disadvantages: no pop-up, so get the timer right!
I love my bright red toaster! I bought it as it looked so cute (although a little pricey I guess) so it is a good job that it cooks toast as well as it does! The slots are wide enough to accomodate big door-stoppers, but manages skinny bread slices too, and seems to cook crumpets and muffins fine, without the need to use the separate cage (which I bought but have never felt the need to use). The toaster does cook evenly, without having to burn your ...

Advantages: Easy to maintain and operate Disadvantages: Costly outlay for the intial purchase
We've had the same dualit toaster now for about 17 YEARS and its still going good. There aren't many out there that last that long.
What makes this toaster different is that if an element breaks either by metal fatigue or whilst trying to pry out an oversize piece of bread you can easily replace it by just undoing a few screws ( obviously remember to disconnect it from the electricity supply first) and minutes later you can have your toast. When ... ...aren't that difficult - but Dualit have gone one further by using bold controls. The timer is easy to read and has an indicator for the 'perfect' slice ( I usually put it just above this - just to make sure) - once it reaches 0 the toaster switches off but stays in the slots, where it will be kept warm by the cooling elements. Again most toasters eject their objects where they cool a lot quicker. Ejection of the toast is accompanied by a lever at ...
