...smell.The toaster has a blu Breville logo which lights up constantly even when not being used ..also a digital blue number stays on to show you what heat setting you are on.And when you insert your bread the fireworks begin. There are 12 lights in all and the toaster glows in a neon blue.Very stylish without being gimmicky. As the toast browns a set of 5 LEDs gradually turn themselves off indicating the stage of Browning...The whole design is well ... ...although it is light. Now to test it with bread.Ist time ...a live review!!! In with some white bread lights all on wait a little and oh too light and one side toasted more than the other.Ok next piece of bread setting 2 ....still too light. Ok new bread. Setting 3...ok one side fine the other side a little light. However its fine and I'm being ultra fussy.also the bread was very thin and I'm sure its just a question of experimenting.I like the toaster ...

Review of Breville TT68
Advantages: Toasts beautifully, looks good, cheaper than Dualit Disadvantages: None that I've found
I'm a big toast fan - so I was definitely looking for a toaster that could cope with brown, white, thick and thin bread with ease and preferably have a brushed steel finish to match my new kitchen. I spent a lot of time looking at Dualit toasters but couldn't bring myself to spend £150 on a toaster. So the TT33 ticked all the boxes - stylish, affordable, big and solid looking.
I've owned it for over 6 months now and used it at least daily. It toast ... ...doesn't burn subsequent slices of toast. The high-lift holder is really useful and the crumb tray is easy to clean and doesn't drop crumbs as my previous toaster did. It even copes well with my fresh waffles which probably should be grilled. I was worried that it would be hot to the touch but I haven't noticed it at all in day to day operation. ...
Advantages: Nice toaster and it illuminates Disadvantages: Only worked for a few months
...you who recently read my Breville Kettle review will know that I also purchased the matching toaster as a set. Unfortunately the toaster has not lived up to my expectations, and sadly departed from my kitchen only a few months after purchase. I do not seem to have much luck with toasters at all, and if I manage to keep one beyond it's guarantee then I consider it to be fantastic! I have bought cheap toasters, expensive toasters, and they all never ... ...from now on. This Breville PT45 toaster came as part of a set including the kettle. I paid £35 for the set from Littlewoods, although both kettle and toaster are available to buy separately. As I mentioned in my kettle review, I really wanted a kettle that illuminated with one of those blue LED lights, so that was a major factor in my choice. I also needed a toaster, and the price also seemed reasonable for the two. Also, I have a Breville sandwich ...

Review of Breville PT45
Advantages: QUICK AND EASY TO USE Disadvantages: NONE FOUND YET
I have found the breville toaster a very easy one to use and you can easily set how brown you would like your toast by a easy up and down button .and can easily stop the toast cooking with push of a button. once you have set the toaster which has a led display it does how you like it every time .it also has a light count down display and you can do just two bits of toast or four. there is a re-heat button and a defrost button, and you can do thick ...

Review of Breville TT49
Advantages: Fast toast! Disadvantages: Fishing for muffins
...equal. This two-slice offering from Dualit was my dream toaster for a couple of years (though the design has modified slightly) - one for the wedding list, as I didn't see myself justifying the purchase price. It was only in a fit of wild abandon, brought on by actually earning a bonus despite the recession, that I randomly decided to actually buy it - as a treat to myself.
It's beautiful. Its chunky in design and feels substantial, yet is actually ... ...a warm glow every time I look at it, let alone make toast with it, probably due to the "spendorphins" brought on by its cost! Its funny how owning just one of two really high quality items can make a bog-standard fitted kitchen look really quite swanky - this does the trick nicely.
This toaster doesn't have ridiculous amounts of features. It has insulated walls so you don't burn your hands, and adjustable slots (up to 28mm) for cooking muffins, ...
