It probably won’t toast your bread evenly, the element will be cheap and will not last long and you just won’t be satisfied, unless of course you have a Dualit. Now I am not a toaster historian so I cannot really tell you much about the background of the Dualit toaster range, except ... ...don’t need to. My Dualit has four large toasting slots. They can comfortably accommodate a wide range if breads from thick to thin and tall to short. They can also comfortably accommodate muffins, crumpets, teacakes etc with no fuss at all. Operation is simple. You drop the bread in the slot and then pull the lever in the middle down to lower the toast into the machine. ...my mother has always recommended Dualit and it's a brand of toaster I've been fed from since a little girl and know just how long they do last, all we had to do was decide upon a model. Appearance:
We decided to go with the Dualit 25071 (as printed on the manual leaflet) because of the design and because it's a 2 slicer. Toast goes cold very quickly and is digusting cold so there is little point in cooking more than you can butter with only one ... ...over the sink with ease. So a well deserved 5 ***** for another fabulous dualit product even though tthe price is steep, I always feel that buying a dualit is an very good investment in my future breakfasts!

We have had this in our kitchen for almost a year and I can truly say that this is the best toaster that I have ever purchased. I have moved house so many times and have used this as an excuse to buy a new toaster every time. BUT, this little baby is with me for life.It not only looks fantastic, it is fantastic. Everyone comments on it. You may think. like I used to, that a toaster is a toaster. But after paying the extra and buying this one, I now ... ...settings are so easy, my kids change it to make toast just the way they like it. I can honestly say that I have not burnt a single slice. The toast is evenly browned and pops up quickly. I can even toast rolls and french bread in total confidence that the kitchen will not fill with smoke and they don't get jammed in the thing. When it comes to cleaning the thing, the bottom pops open and the crumbs fall out. You do not get the crumbs hanging around ...

...you like dosnt match. Also the tray that catches crums is not that good as crums still escape all over the work surface. At a very expensive price this dualit toaster is very poor ! beware dont buy!
i would reccomend something less expensive and more reliable like phillips. ...

Advantages: Basically the advantage is the way it looks! Disadvantages: Uneven toasting after 3 weeks use
...We also trusted the brand Dualit as we have previously owned a reliable toaster fromthis company. It does LOOK good in our kitchen, however if I'd wanted art I'd have bought a picture! After just 3 weeks of use (it was working great to start with) it now has started to toast unevenly. There is nothing worse than a piece of toast which is light on one side and charred in areas on the other - yuk!
(ok so there are LOTS of things worse than that - ... ...don't know if ours is just a dodgy element or something but I'm not impressed ....At least I can use it to check my hair whilst cooking....It is very shiny...maybe I could move it to the bathroom and my husband could use it as a shaving mirror?
Any other suggestions? Answers on a postcard please.... ...
