I bought this toaster for my little sister for her moving in peasant as she recently got her own place. Anyways... it looked good, the packaging was flashy & with the reatures it had, you would think it would be a decent toaster. How wrong could I be? I bought the Hinari mainly as it looked classy and was sturdier than most other toasters in that price bracket. (Many of the others had flimsy components reminiscent of a Heath Robinson contraption.) ...This is not the first Tefal Avanti model that I have owned. The first one lasted me over 10 years and was obtained with the help of ABC points with Safeway many years ago. Unlike this model it was only a 2 slice toaster and when it gave up on us about 3 months before our wedding, it was decided to buy a cheap Tesco value model to do us and we put this model on to our wedding list.
