kenwood toaster.
Review of Kenwood TT580 4 Slice by linsy

Advantages: easy clean, looks good
Disadvantages: short cord,

i recently brought this toaster and i have to say i have found it really good. It looks good and is very simple and easy to use, i also think it was value for money! The dials are simple and easy to follow. The instructions are very detailled. The main function i like is the ability to use it as either a two slice or a one slice toaster. The crumb catcher is in a very good place so it is quick and easy to clean! I also like the extra high lifting ... Read review

Cheap but flawed
Review of Kenwood TT325 by MrsBee

Advantages: Cheap little toaster with useful 'features' like integrated heating rack
Disadvantages: Top bit of the slices of bread poke out the top of the toaster.

...So we pick up the Kenwood TT325, about £20, get it home and discover when you push the lever down the tops of the bits of bread poke out the top, far out of range of the 'toasting' elements. "Oh well" we say "just prod the handy cancel button and turn the bread/toast over half way through." Gets a bit annoying after a while though and when we think about it, how on earth did a toaster get through the 'research and development' stages that didn't ...
...'toastie' brand bread which is now available, which is a bit more square-like and doesn't poke out so much. Otherwise it's an ok toaster, but always staggered how various 'budget' products find different ways not to fulfil the job requirements. Has little crumb tray, integrated heating racks (for doing your croissants on), variable heat setting, cancel button and 'cool walls'. ... Read review

Will leave you feeling warm and smug
Review of Kenwood TT290 by smudgenskunk

Advantages: toasts perfectly and quickly, turns off if jammed, reheat feature, warming tray
Disadvantages: white plastic finish

...I now sell you the Kenwood TT290 a 2 slice toaster, an amazing discovery that costs less than £20. Whilst the TT290 may not win any awards at London Fashion Week or be voted the most pleasing on the eye gadget by Which? magazine what it lacks in style it more than makes up for in terms of performance, features, safety and the ease with which it can be cleaned. Capable of holding 2 thick slices of bread with plenty of room around the crust the spring ...
...main compartment. The Kenwood TT290 toasts brilliantly every time I use it and when you add into the equation the fact that crumbs can be removed via the sliding crumb tray really easily I just can't help but pity the poor fools who believe that a £200 toaster is really worth so much. The white plastic finish may put many people off but I urge you to overlook this minor point and remember that when push comes to shove, it is a toaster and for toasting ... Read review

fast kenwood toaster
Review of Kenwood TT 290 by spike25

Advantages: fast toaster
Disadvantages: does one side of bread slightly faster than the other

I have had this toaster for about 2 months now. I am happy with it and found it to be a fast toaster. The only slight problem with it is that it does one side of the bread slightly faster than the other which can be quite annoying if you like your toast well done as you can never get it spot on. The appliance is deep enough for the slices of bread but if you like thick crusty bread it has a tendancy to burn fast and smoke a bit due to the lack of ...
...i call a croissant shelf for heating up your croissants, very good if you love croissants. It also has a defrost and reheat button which can come in handy. Very easy to clean with a pull out plate on the side that catches the crumbs. Saftey side of the things, the outside walls (sides) of the toaster dont get hot, you can tell the toasters on when you touch it but you will never burn yourself. All in All this is a decent toaster that isnt that expensive ... Read review

Handy Toaster with a great design!
Review of Delonghi CT04G by HAYLOLS

Advantages: Good design, excellent features!
Disadvantages: none!

I bought this toaster a 18 months ago and it's still going strong!!! I love the design!...it's got a classic retro cafe style look about it and comes in a lovely cream colour. You can get this in a 2 slot or a 4 slot model. i have got the 4 slot which is brilliant if you are making a round of toast or toasted buns! You can set the temperature to different settings for each pair of slots, which I like as it makes it easier to cook to peoples tastes ...
...It has got a defrost setting and also a reheat function which is great if you like to freeze your loaves top keep for longer! It has the same pop up feature as with all toasters, although this has the added bonus of a high rise feature, whereby you can lift the lever to make the toast lift higher...so you don't burn your fingers getting it out!! The removable crumb trays make cleaning easier and to be honest even though it doesn';t have a cool wall ... Read review
