...surprise.
They had a Kenwood TTP103 four slice toaster in white for £20!
So know you know why we needed a toaster, how and why we chose it and where we got it from I'm guessing you'd like to know a bit about it!
Features
It has a crumb tray into which will drop the crumbs from the toast. It slides out of the base of the toaster so that it can be emptied - I always put the resulting crumbs out for the birds. I also usually turn the toaster upside ... ...get the crumbs out that don't fall into the crumb tray.
It has a high lift which operates from the lever used to start the toaster. When it has finished you can lift that same lever to its highest and this lifts the toast a little bit higher from the toaster so it is easier to remove it.
It has a cancel button with an indicator light. Now this is useful if you have set the heat a bit too high and the smell of burning toast begins to drift across ...

Review of Kenwood TTP 103
Advantages: Very Modern Disadvantages: Tad Expensive
...very elegant and brilliantly designed Kenwood TT900 yes I know it sounds like a sports car but past that it really is the bees knees. I paid £49.99 from the Kenwood store and it was delivered next day free of charge.
Setting Up The Toaster.
Setting up the toaster was very simple and the instructions were very straightforward. The only real setting up is taking out of the box and placing where you want it to live and plugging it in. Once you have ... ...To make toast with the Kenwood TT900 is very simple just take your two slices of bread and place them in the slots then without doing anything the toaster pulls down the toast and starts to brown it straight away. It really is flash the toast just slides down automatically like its on a lift and when it is ready it beeps and a blue light on top flashes and starts to raise so no leaving the toast in to long and gives and visual and audible warning ...

Review of Kenwood TTM312
Advantages: Speed, good thorough toasting, looks very attractive Disadvantages: Gets a bit hot
"The Kenwood TTM333" I happen to love this toaster - along with the matching kettle it has transformed our kitchen into something a bit more sleek and chic. It's given the area a more modern feel and has the appearance of a quality product, which for the most part it is. It replaced a £4.00 toaster from Tescos which couldn't actually fit a piece of bread into itself - it toasted half, you took it out and flipped it round then put it back in. So really ... ...settings (Or Browning Control as Kenwood likes to refer to it as?!)
2) A defroster
3) A lever on the side that allows you to pull the toast up and check it without stopping the toasting. So a Toast Preview, if you will. Officially called a Peek n View
4)Reheat button
The toaster is fairly wide, but it's slim or at least as slim as a four slice toaster gets. It has curved sides so doesn't look like a brick and it's buttons have a blue light behind ...
Advantages: Very efficient, taosts well and evenly Disadvantages: Difficult to keep clean!
This has proved to be a great addition to our kitchen,
With two growing boys, we noticed that a two-slice toaster just wasn't up to the job! So, when our previous toaster died, we thought it was worth giving up a little more space in the kitchen.
This happened to be on offer at Argos [£20], so seemed really good value. I aslo liked its shape: a curved front looks nicer than a square box that a lot of tosters have.
It's not loaded with features; ... ...function. The third butten serves as a cancel function [don't know the ciao info says "without Cancel Function"??].
The shiney surface does tend to pick up marks and smudges. We've made a bit of a mistake of putting it close to the cooker: it gets marked from saucepans quite easily. ...
