Advantages: Very quick and great toasting Disadvantages: Two slices at a time only
...always been satisfied by my Morphy Richards products like my bread maker and kettle.
So I returned to Amazon to look at a toaster for my kitchen. I quickly stumbled upon the 44931 Perfection at £29.99. To be honest I didn't really look at the details, I just looked at the picture and immediately saw it sitting in my kitchen. So I snapped it up and brought it straight away.
So I suppose I had better give some details about it. Well it is mainly ... ...lid that automatically slides across the top. This is probably the thing that sets it apart from other toasters. What happens is that the toast is taken automatically down at the touch of a button and toasted with the lid enclosing the toast. Once done the lid opens and the toast is automatically raised back up. You can of course move the lid across when not inuse to keep the toaster tidy and clean. It is also extremely quick at toasting the bread, ...

Advantages: quick toast Disadvantages: it blow up!
...toaster heaven I bought the Morphy Richards coolstyle toaster mainley due to the jazzy colours - they come in a bright blue, yellow and lime green. I only had it for 3 months and bang! - No more toast for me! In the 3 months that I was a proud owner of a lime green toaster it really did do good toast ie not over cooked and at an incredible speed. it is a reasonable priced toaster but not that reasonable priced for the three months i had it! I settled ...

We’ve had our Morphy Richards Coolwall for about a year and it has given excellent service during that time, used on a daily basis. It’s a model 44430, in white and is rated at 900 watts which is the equivalent of a single bar on an electric fire! It takes two slices of material for toasting. Material is the only word I could think of to describe anything that will fit in the mouth of the toaster and which will survive the scorching heat. (Though ... ...that the manufacturer has thought carefully about design. The gap is very wide, but as soon as you operate the ‘down’ lever spring loaded grids close on the material and hold it centrally for toasting. This enables you to toast thick or thin items, machine cut or hand cut, small or large. The residue of crumbs can be extracted by removing the plate on the bottom of the toaster – worth doing every few days. Level of browning is set by the usual dial ...

Advantages: Good design, excellent features! Disadvantages: none!
I bought this toaster a 18 months ago and it's still going strong!!! I love the design!...it's got a classic retro cafe style look about it and comes in a lovely cream colour. You can get this in a 2 slot or a 4 slot model. i have got the 4 slot which is brilliant if you are making a round of toast or toasted buns!
You can set the temperature to different settings for each pair of slots, which I like as it makes it easier to cook to peoples tastes ... ...It has got a defrost setting and also a reheat function which is great if you like to freeze your loaves top keep for longer! It has the same pop up feature as with all toasters, although this has the added bonus of a high rise feature, whereby you can lift the lever to make the toast lift higher...so you don't burn your fingers getting it out!! The removable crumb trays make cleaning easier and to be honest even though it doesn';t have a cool wall ...

The Russell Hobbs 9209-50 Classic toaster is superb. I always fancied a Dualit toaster, but theyre far too expensive. The Russell Hobbs 9209-50 Classic toaster looks a lot like the Dualit toasters, but is much more affordable(around £25 on Amazon).
My last toaster only had two slots, so it is luxury having four slots and it saves a lot of time, especially when youve got two hungry children to feed. The slots are wide enough to cope with muffins, ... ...with extra lift that helps a lot when getting thicker items out of the slot.
It is easy to use, with 6 browning settings. There is also a defrost setting enabling you to toast frozen bread. It toasts bread evenly, creating a perfectly crisp piece of toast.
The surface wipes clean easily- i use the same polish on it that i use on my stainless steel cooker and it comes up a treat...you can see your face in it! The removable crumb trays are excellent ...
