.... On to the features of this toy. There are two settings to choose from, the first plays a different tune each time your baby hits the sun, moon or stars hanging from the drop down section. This also activates flashing lights in the keyboard style buttons, which are situated across the front of the toy. The second setting works on a similar basis as the first but when the sun, moon or stars are hit it plays several different tunes one after the other and again the flashing lights are activated. This helps hand co-ordination by encouraging a child to activate the sound by hitting the correct part of the toy. It also helps eye co-ordination by encouraging a baby to follow the flashing lights with their eyes as they move from button to button. This particular aspect of the toy has been a godsend for me because it really keeps my little boys attention... Read review

...and hitting to make the music play. There are sparkling lights displayed at the top of the gym when the music plays. This play gym can, when baby becomes a toddler be use as a key board the top removes from the legs and the tunes can be played by pressing on the keys so this toy has a good long time to be used fortunately the tunes are quite tasteful not irritating like a lot of musical toys. This play gym is excellent rewarding baby’s actions and encouraging movement to strengthen his muscles and encourage motor control. It is easy for an adult to assemble and pack down although baby Adrian’s is always up as he plays with it a lot. I would certainly recommend this toy plenty of play value and mother’s peace value. Advantages: good for supporting your babys back
Disadvantages: expensive and hard to store.

...I used this play gym form when my baby was about 4 month until he was about 8 months. which is a very short period of time concidering it cost £40. The advantages includ that it is stimulating for the baby to look aty and it also improves eye to han co-ordination and play skills. i also liked that fact that when my little boy was just about learning to sit up on his own he didnt like to be led on his back and using this play gym i could sit him up nd the high sides would support his back. most play gyms have much lower sides. i do think that the gym goes well if you have decorated you nursery with traditional colours as it is mainly pastel colours. The disadvantages are again it is not very good value for money just due to the fact that your baby will only be using it or around 5 months. also there is not enough tunes and sound... Read review
