...* What is Andrex ? * Andrex is the company which makes toilet roll.Although I'm unaware of the time Andrex began , I do know that Andrex has been around for a very long time.A golden labrador puppy is the 'face' of Andrex.I think it's because of the cute puppy on the front is the reason why Andrex sells so well.It also appeals to children , who then tell their parents to buy it because they like the puppy on the front. * Andrex * The toilet roll ......to other loo rolls , Andrex is quite thick and also more expensive but I do believe you are getting what you pay for.The rolls come in different colours in order to fit in with the colours of your bathroom.Available colours include ; white , warm natural, gentle pink and Aqua.Andrex is also available with a touch of Aloe Vera.Personally ,I do not like the Aloe Vera one because it has a strong smell , which I dislike.Although , other people might ... ...purchased by Proctor and Gamble, Charmin surged into popularity in the US during the 60's and 70's becoming a market leader, thanks to a series of iconic advertisements. These advertisements featured actor Dick Wilson (also well known for his repeat roles in Bewitched as the drunk at the bar Darrin frequents) as the grocery manager Mr. Whipple. Poor Mr. Whipple was always having to ask the ladies to not stand about squeezing the Charmin. He would ......the release of the newest Charmin Ultra, which was softer and more absorbent, so fewer sheets were needed, so a new catchphrase was also devised, "With Charmin Ultra ... less is more." More cute woodland animal themes followed in the ads, with little cubs being added and so on. These are the ads we saw here in the UK, as shortly after being introduced to Canada, the ads and the product were both rolled out here to the UK with great success. I have ... Read review

...but the experience of the Izal got me thinking "should I have scrunched it or folded it?" Neither seemed to work satisfactorily, and the folding proved a complete disaster. But life in the 40s and 50s seemed a lot happier than today and, if the Izal contributed to this in some way, then I'll keep trying... It's good that Izal is available in both flat-pack and roll forms. It's possible to buy attractive porcelain flat-pack holders on eBay. Overall, ... Read review

...is going to focus on Quilted Velvet produced by S.C.A Hygiene ,a German company who make all manner of hygiene products that are embarrassing to discuss but are much needed. History In ancient time's people used sponges as toilet paper. As recent as 1935 toilet paper was declared splinter free. It was only in 1942 two ply paper was invented. Quilted Velvet is marketed as a luxury toilet paper. Their marketing slogan is fun for your bum. Fun toilet ......insists it has to be quilted or triple thickness. He tries to test the softness in the packet. It is rather embarrassing having him feel up all the toilet paper packets just to make sure the loo roll is comfortable enough for his tender little botty! Don't get me wrong, I do like soft toilet paper. I hate the thin horrible scratchy cheapo stuff you get in public toilets and schools. That does hurt and I am not advocating that, but to me toilet roll ... Read review
Advantages: Has a lovely cleansing balm. Disadvantages: Get less than a standard roll.
This is one of the newer tissue rolls on the market - and it's not bad... It's soft enough to use which is important and what seperates this from the others is that it has a kind of cleansing balm integrated into the tissue fibres itself. This is certainly a bonus extra, giving a clean and fresh feel for use in the bathroom. The brand is also embedded with 'patterns' - although I'm not finding this to any benefit yet - it's not really a negative ......brand of tissue tends to run out quicker, which was quite interesting at first... however, after a few days, the penny dropped - the imprinted patterns are probably actually used to 'flesh' out the loo roll to make it the same size as a standard roll, therefore that explains why it runs out so quickly - you actually get less. The price is fairly reasonable - usually under £2 for 4 rolls - which for all the extra features is a very good buy. Bottomline... ... Read review
