This is a fantastic product! I think it may even may be the best thing I have bought ever! Anyway let get to the pros and cons…I am sure there are some! Tom Tom 700 is a neat bit of kit, that is so simple to use and the added bonus is that it has bluetooth technology! and great graphics, 3d-like...and comes with a remote control for ease of use All you have to do is enter in the address details and your off, it calculates the route to your preferences such as taking the shortest and fastest route and if your in London avoid the Congestion Charge Zone! Very handy!. If you need to go to Europe, no problem! as it is already programmed, or if you need to go further a field you can purchase the country maps, I have not taken it abroad yet but think I will try it out this summer. I love it! Definitely recommended, even my brother got one after borrowing my car! Now it is a bit pricey, however there are different, cheaper models, and of course if you shop around and even if you buy online you can always find a bargain…I am sure they will come down in time… Oh and another excellent thing about this is that you will never get bored or irritated by the voice because you can change the sound of the voice…Brilliant! And if you happen to be multi-lingual you can change the language. You can store your most used address and plan a route via other addresses. Night Driving made easy with the Night view option taking the glare of the screen away from your eyes The Tom Tom 700 can update you on the latest in traffic news and weather conditions, and can even tell you where a petrol station is located and car parks To operate the Tom Tom 700 all you have to do s plug it in & select your route, and off you drive. It is touch-screen operated and comes with a remote control (batteries included) When approaching a turn, you will here the instruction, you can review and test out your route before pulling away and there are on-screen tip to help you when you first start out.
