I feel very safe buying tomtom product however as it has a very good reputation efficient navigation devices. And the GO 920T is no exception.
What I love about ... ...have text-to-speech which means the tomtom can announce street names, as well as sms and traffic messages.
Which means you can focus more on driving as the tomtom does everyhting for you.
One of my favourite things on this perticular device is the speech recognition which lets you tell your device where to go, instead of typing it on screen this is a lot better especially when your driving as obviouslly you will get in trouble ... more

I feel very safe buying tomtom product however as it has a very good reputation efficient navigation devices. And the GO 920T is no exception. What I love about this perticular tomtom is the 4.3" widescreen which helps improve what you are seeing and also i dont struggle to type the destination i am wanting to go to.
Its an excellent communicator It lets you have text-to-speech which means the tomtom can announce street names, as well as sms and traffic messages. Which means you can focus more on driving as the tomtom does everyhting for you.
One of my favourite things on this perticular device is the speech recognition which lets you tell your device where to go, instead of typing it on screen this is a lot better especially when your driving as obviouslly you will get in trouble with the police if you was to press the buttons whilst driving, also its good for people like myself who are useless as typing on these kind of devices.
The mapping is great it has 4gb of memory that contains maps of Europe and US.
I'm a big fan of texting and it really fustrated me before buying thsi product when soemone would text me whilst driving, as I was dieing to read what they had put in case it was an emergancy, Id often end up finding the nearest service station jus tin case, but after finding this beauty it did the reading my messages out for me. The device says "A new text message was received; shall I read it aloud?" then you just reply saying "Yes" or "No" SIMPLE! Now I dont have to drive to service staiton in a huff and a puff.The device tells you a range of shortcuts, to access main functions quickly if necessary when driving. It has a very high quality, hands-free car kit which makes dealing with phone calls safer
If your a music fan liek myself this is something you'll love you no longer need to change cds , the on-board MP3 Player can play your music collection wirelessly through your car's audio system
Keeping Safe You can choose the device to dislpay thecurrent speed limit,speeding warnings, recommended driving breaks, warnings of schools or ,places of worship, unpaved road warnings and a few more.

We where of to the States and Canada, and wanted a sat nav for the 3 weeks fro our 100 mile trek, to hire one with our rental car was going to cost in the region of £150 so we decided to buy one instead, we bought it for just £285 on line from Halfords, and it has been brilliant. All the world maps are preinstalled, we told the machine before we left the uk the destinations we where going to friends and families address and logged them as recent ... ...arrived we would be tired and not really be wanting to try and figure out programmming the device when we where concentrating on driving on the wrong side of the road in Usa Friday night rush hour round Seattle... I don't recommned it. But the tom tom without a glitch 10 seconds after switching on and selecting usa it had located where we where and took us to the door and for that I would have married the machine if it were legal, no arguing over ...

Advantages: fm transmssion, bluetooth with remote, voice recognition, music player and image viewer Disadvantages: No maps for the whole world, no maps for sea navigation.
...deviate from the prefixed route, an alternative route is calculated straight away. Voice recognition allows the user to speak the destination, rather than type it in. Bluetooth connectivity allows the user to use their bluetooth-enabled phone wirelessly. The TomTom device can predict car position in areas of low GPS signal. ...
