I am going to be brutally honest - Tom Tom is the leading company when it comes to GPS car navigation. The fact that they are one of the best would suggest that customer support is also good - this is not the case. Any problems that a customer has are irrelevant to Tom Tom. My map is out of date (at times I will be on the motorway, and the map tells me I'm in a field an that I should turn down cowgate lane!
Aside from the problems with the company, there has been no attempt to provide updates for the maps. The only option is to purchase a completely new map - even with this, you still don't know whether certain roads have been updated!Do not get me wrong, I am happy using the Tom Tom - and the Great Britain map which provides 1000's of Points of Interest (fuel stations, hotels etc.) and is comprehensive throughout the UK.
It is worth checking how up to date your current map is before purchasing this one.Happy Travels!
