I owned an O2 XDA Mini-S which I wanted to use hands-free. I bought the TomTom software at the same time as the hands-free kit from PDAmods.com. It was a bad idea. I could not get the GPS signal recognised by the handheld PDA. As it takes its power from the cigarette-lighter socket in the car (there is no other external power source available) I could not try configuring it unless I was sat in the car. Not much use when you need technical help and have to use a separate phone to talk to TomTom while you figure out what is not working.
In the end, I upgraded (almost for free) to the new XDA Orbit which has GPS built in to the phone.
