TomTom ONE XL

This is the brand-new,much hyped Tom Tom One XL to replace the still-available TomTom One (that\'s about £100 cheaper).
The basic difference between the two models is that new new XL has built-in safety camera features, whereas the original one doesn\'t (however, you can download it free from the internet). The new XL also has a wider screen which, really, makes very little difference when you\'re driving along.
The system it uses is good and cannot be faulted -it\'s easy to use and understand, even for a novice, and you can choose options like voice etc.
I have found that the battery doesn\'t last very long (maybe because of the slim-line design at the back of the model), and the holder that attaches to the window is cheaply made and very stiff to maneover.
The XL model doesnt come with a docking station to charge, so has to be charged via a USB or cigarette lighter in the car. Doesn\'t come with a carrying pouch either - this cost should be factored in.
