"Decent, but not spectacular as hoepd"

The highly anticipated next gen game 'The Division' is without doubt one of the best recreations of a city in a video game. New York is beautiful. The game world is set in a dystopian New York City following the aftermath of a smallpox pandemic.
Your player is part of a Strategic Homeland Division - aka The Division. You work to investigate the outbreak and help to rebuild the city, fighting against the criminal activity which takes place on virtually every corner.
For most tasks, you'll mainly need to be part of a team to succeed (although you can complete challenges on your own - it's much more difficult!) and keep progressing. The game rewards you for completing challenges and tasks by upgrading in your home base - where you can earn points in exchange for new weapons, clothing, better skills.
The main part of the city is where you'll be working together, although there is a huge different section called 'The Dark Zone' where it's player v player. Here, you find the really special items. But it's much more difficult - who do you trust? Shoot at a rival player and you'll be hounded by others around you. But the only way to get your loot back to your home base is to call for a helicopter, where you'll face an agonising wait for it to arrive. While you're waiting, players can kill you and steal your loot. It's tense and can is a fun part of the game.
The Division perhaps doesn't meet the huge hype which surrounded the game's release. But it IS fun. Saving another player as you blast your way through the New York underground, for example, does give you satisfaction.
I just felt a bit flat when playing it. The end game isn't special and after two weeks solid play, I've yet to play the game again, despite new content being released. It's probably worth waiting for it to come down in price. Overall, it's a decent game.

What you've got here is a start but you need more; have a read around the site but the best advice is to think about what you'd want to know before making a purchasing decision and then writing it out for others. Opinions on the gameplay, plot, graphics etc and aim for 500 words as your base minimum word count. Lower than that and you will be scraping H's when the money here is in the VH's and above.
