    Lehman landed a deserved first Major at the 1996 Open as he held off Nick Faldo on the final day - something that had proved beyond Greg Norman in the US Masters just three months earlier. Conditions were calm at Lytham that year and Lehman made his move with a brilliant third round 64. Despite being a good wind player in America, he hasn't been able to challenge when it's blown a gale in Opens and he's missed the cut for the last two years. Came over to get a taste of St Andrews in the 1999 Dunhill Cup but didn't hit the heights as he lost two of his three matches and couldn't shoot better ... more
