(+) Very clear in it's directions and very easy to operate being touch-screen (-) Inputing directions requires every detail and can sometimes be misleading

...I do not own a sat nav. However currently i am working at halfords selling them everyday. I have set up, demonstated and used almost every sat nav. It is easy to say the TomTomgo series is the best range.
The 520 is the basic addition to the go series. The main let down here is no europein mapping. For this feature you wil need to upgrade to the 720 (approximatly £50 more expensive).
If you do not intend to use europien maps the you will not be let down by the TomTom 520. For the price it features a huge range of features including...FM transmitter to play your music though your car sterio! and also bluetooth. The bluetooth is excellent for use with your mobile phone as a handsfree kit.
I would deffinatly recommend the TomTom 520 to anyone....

...As a new taxi driver i was spending loads on calls to my hubby asking where this is and where that is, now i just put info into my tomtom and it will take me right outside the house where my passenger is waiting to be picked up, makes my job a whole lot easier, and i am never late because i dont get lost anymore .And it also gives me the correct mileage of how far i have drove with a customer on board, so when they say the fare is to high i can show them . I have also put tomtom on to shortest route . now i would never leave home without my tomtom....

We should have purchased one of these ages ago. Our family journeys are so much more relaxed now as even local trips can make use of the TomTom and help find better routes. You just use the touch screen to enter a destination, or even better a postcode, and away you go. Also, if you go wrong, the TomTom ONE reassesses your route and works out the best way again.
I believe the TomTom One V2 is very good value for money now that it is around £150. I recommend that you also avail yourself of the safety camera download which can sometimes be included in the price. This is updated regularly and I recently noticed that we were being advised of temporary motorway...

I recently acquired the TomTom GO 710 from Halfords I paid approximately 300pounds in store. The box it came in was nice and compact it contained;1GB SD Card, Carry Case, Home Dock, Car Charger, Windscreen Dock, External Microphone, Quick Start Guide and more
I love to travel alot on Holidays and if I am holidaying in UK , I mostly go in my Car. Till date I used to take a print out of directions from maps.google.co.uk and hand it over to my travel mate(read Date !!! )
