Eventhough there are words in the book it is maily visual and is so well illustarted you don't actually need words to explain what ... ...it's just another reminder of what can happen if were not watching properly.
The book was the winner of The Sheffield Children's Best Picture book Award in 1999. It is also recommended by the Bookstart program to encourage parents to get their kids reading and enjoying books.
My daughter chose this book herself from our local library and it's easy to tell why. The cover is vert bright and the pictures are quite cartoony.
