I always thought tomatoes were o.k until I had a very sour experience which involved my nana and a punnet of spider infested cherry tomatoes.I was happily eating away until I realised there were thousands of spiders crawling over them.I immediately vomitted and ran from my nanas house.
Since then I have steered clear of them...however this is difficult when everything on the menu involves tomatoes.Even tomato sauce makes my flesh crawl.
My nana grows tomatoes and she does this with the greatest of ease.She just throws some seeds in a grow bag and leaves it in her greenhouse for a while.The results are to me ,sickening,but impressive nontheless.
Fresh tomatoes used to be o.k,but not anymore.However to others they are a refreshing snack on a summers day.
When properly washed tomatoes are great.However if you fall into the laziness trap as I did....prepare to spew
HA ha! Very funny op (not that I'm laughing AT you and your spider episode, but WITH you). I hate tomatoes because they taste disgusting, but every time I'm stuck in the trolley gridlock of the Asda fruit 'n' veg bit, I'll think of you. And Spiders. (Shudder) (I shudder at the spiders, not you)

Yes a heart warming tale of desire and distress. A funny op i myself have never fallen into line and eaten tomatoes, i cant stand them. Cheers Roy.
Advantages: Wonderful smell, taste and goes perfectly with tomatoes for a divine salad sensation! Disadvantages: It's an annual that likes a but of sun. And I live in The Dark North!!!
