Advantages faster play than 1 and 2

Disadvantages less puzzles and more killing

Being a tomb raider fan, this is my third opinion and i will be writing one for each of the games.

I was very excited about this one when it came out since i had recieved a free demo of half of level one and it looked like a good start. I liked the concept of traveling to different areas in the world to complete different sections of the mission.

Some of the badies in this one are particulaly tough, and the new added feature of swimming in freezing water make this different. However the complexity of puzzles was greatly reduced. I am a tomb raider fan because of the puzzles and not for the shooting so this one had a harder time holding my attention.

I loved riding the mine cars (indiana jones style) and i liked the subway in london. I did not like timed swimming with the propulsion device and found that there were way too many badies to kill. This one is also fun for trying out all the new vehicles like canoe and quad bike.

Good but dificult for a first time tomb raider, some new moves and faster play for old timers but not quite up to the standard of one and two. Still fun to play though.

The saving system is better than in the second one, it goes back to saving with save crystals except now you can save them up and use them when you need them, good idea. So you can still save at any point you choose but only if you have a crystal in the inventory.

I have read some other reviews and noticed that there have been coments on music. Tomb raider has clips of music at relevent progressive parts of the game and also sound fx when needed, i think this is excellent since i hate games which have perky music in the background which cannot be turned off, as these tunes stay in my head for days.
