Obviously, many will say that LaraCroft (Angelina Jolie) provides a performance that will please any man, and her great English accent deserves a mention, but the desperately predictable and dry script does her no justice.
However, please note that Lara's Assistant, played by Chris Barrie (Rimmer from Red Dwarf), also deserves a mention for his great performance.
Yes, this is a very predictable film, but nevertheless, if you like sheer action, you'll love this!

I had never played any of the TombRaiders, well in all honesty I tried TombRaider 3 but I just didn't like it. So when my other half bought an XBOX 360 that came with TombRaider: Legend I thought that I'd give it a go. I fell in love with it.
Now, I myself an more a PlayStation person and found out that they were remaking the original TombRaider I actually got a little excited! All because I have enjoyed Legend so much.
I got all excited when Anniversary was released, I bought my collectors edition and as soon as I got home, the game was in my PS2 and I had started TombRaider: Anniversary.
I was not disappointed in any way!

I was a big fan of the first TombRaider on the PS 1, in fact it was my first game that I owned. All those years ago I remember sitting in my room, heart thumping and the sound of the T-Rex's foot steps approaching, gazing in awe at the site of the Collisuem level and nearly smashing my controller to pieces as I yet again fell down a massive drop due to a dodgy camera angle.
And now, over a decade later, when graphics are sharp and colours deep and detailed they have remade the game that defined what gaming is all about. Risky? Some people thought so, but not me, why would it be? Its a tried and tested formula only now our busty heroine has been pixelated (rather than looking like shes got a pair of traffic cones attached to her chest) and been given a playground more lush and colorful than Lawrence Llewyn Bowens wardrobe.
