Advantages: Easy to clean, comfortable to hold Disadvantages: Shape of the teet made it difficult for my baby to use

I was attracted by the idea that they were supposed to be closer to the natural shape and flex of a breast, and the anti colic valve. In any event unfortunately I did end up breast feeding and ended up buying more TT bottles.
My daughter is still not the best feeder (6 weeks old now) and she really struggled with these bottles. The shape of the teet (the dome shaped base of the teet) made it very difficult for her to make a seal around it which made feeds very messy and fairly windy (despite the anti colic valve). The midwife saw me giving a feed and suggested we try some other bottles to see if my daughter got on better with them and we also tried Avent, Dr Browns and Boots own brand bottles. In the event my daughter was much better with the Avent bottles which made feeding less messy, and calmer all round.
The TT bottles themselves are a good design from a cleaning point of view and the shape makes them comfortable to hold when giving a feed but obviously these bottles did not work out for us. With the benefit of hindsight I would recommend any first time Mum thinking of bottle feeding (if you have the budget) to try out a few different bottles before settling on a brand as all babies are different and have slightly different sucking techniques so what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another.
Advantages: A range of different sizes Disadvantages: Teat clogges evey now and then
I have quite a few Tomme Tippee bottles and prefer them over any other brand. Im not saying they are perfect the 1 problem i have had is that the 'air' filter in the teat seems to get clogged up quickly and it is difficult to clean without spliting the teat as it is not recommended to use the cleaning brush. I found that carefully removing any dirt with a cotton bud seems to work a treat. Yes it is a little fiddily but its more cost effective than ...

These little inventions have to be the best £1.99 I have spent since having a baby, and if you are bottlefeeding your child I highly recommend them, well done TommeeTippee. ...
Advantages: Helps Colic and Reflux problems that babies sometimes get Disadvantages: Bit expensive
...... nothing worked.
When my health visitor came round to check on her progress, I explained my concern and she recommended buying Dr Browns bottles and trying them out. I live in a small village and the only place they sell Dr Browns bottles is in Mothercare which is a good 45 minutes drive from my home. Instead, I went to Tesco which is just around the corner to see if they had them there.
My Tesco didn't sell them, but they did sell these TommeeTippee Healthcheck bottles which appeared to be similar to Dr Browns.
After just one use of them, I noticed my baby was feeding so much better. I was so happy because I felt that it was my fault that she wasn't feeding properly before.
The Health Check bottle is different to normal bottles on the market as the vent system prevents your baby from taking in any air during feeding, which is ...

, again in pink, is printed 'Unique Dribble Catcher Helps to Eliminate Rashes'. In the centre of the card are two of the loveable TommeeTippee characters a baby dinosaur in an eggshell and a kitten, both holding bottles of milk. The packaging tells me that the bib is for babies in their first stage of feeding (milk only, although I'm sure these will get more use after this stage) suitable from 0+ months and that the bib is designed to absorb moisture and avoid stains and smells on clothing. The packaging is very bright and very easy to read and understand.
On the reverse of the packaging it details the TommeeTippee 3 stages for feeding. Stage 1 newborn, Stage 2 4+ months (weaning) and Stage 3 6+ months. The packaging also tells me that 'The TommeeTippee Milk Feeding Bib with its unique dribble catcher is designed to capture any ...
