Manual pumps are the way to go if the idea of hooking yourself up to an electric one seems a little daunting!

This was the first breast pump I used and it was nice and straightforward; sterilise, twist together, and you are on your way. Doing this manually means you get control which I found much better.

This product also came with spare bottles, and storage cups, which I have used for the last 6 months (only replacing the teats at the right age stage) and are still going strong.

All the extras were great. But after 2 months the spring came out of the pump. As I liked the pump and had found it easy to use, I replaced it, but the next one broke after less than a month. Its a shame, because the suction and ease of use was brilliant- but after two breakages (and returns not allowed due to the hygeine of the product) I gave up and bought an alternative brand (Tescos own) which lasted the rest of my time breastfeeding without breaking - although the suction cup was not as good as with the Tommee Tippee.

All in all, it was a great product - til it broke! Twice! But at the cheap price and with the extra bottles etc, it may be worth it anyway...
