The concept of these nappies is good but the ones I bought started to fall apart. The nappies are available in 3 sizes: size 1 = 4 - 11, size 2 = 8 - 17, size 3 = 15 - 32.
They are constructed in 2 parts - a nappy liner, a nap cover with an optional top sheet. The top sheet is designed to be flushed down the toilet and stops solids going through onto the liner. The liner is washed after every change and the cover can be reused as long as it is not soiled. The nappy cover stays in place with adjustable velcro.
The thing I found with these is that they can be a bit fiddly if you are out and about plus you obviously have to wrap the nappy and carry it round with you until you next go home unlike with a disposable. A drawstring bag is included for this. It is recommended that you wash the nappies you have accumulated every 3 days or so to make sure they are washed and dried ready to use before you run out again. The nappies are washed at 60c with a normal washing tablet plus a tablespoon of nappy bright, which helps keep the nappies nice and white.

Advantages: Easy to fold, quick to apply, no leaks Disadvantages: Need washing, wraps do not give a close fit
Prefolded nappies are the perfect compromise between disposables and old fashionned terry nappies.
I primarily bought these nappies as they were on special offer, and my terry folding was far from perfect.
The trial pack contains 6 padded inserts, and 3 nappy covers. The inserts are quickly folded up according to the instructions (boy / girl / leaky poo) and then placed onto the nappy cover. You then use the nappy as you would a disposable.
The ... ...fit a bit loose. This also means baby ends up with a baggy bottom which is hard to fit into some clothes. I did use the covers over normal terry nappies, this also worked well and allowed me to prolong the use of the product.
As with all resusable nappies, the drawback is storing and washing. I saved up 3 days worth of nappies (using approximately 8 a day for a 3 month old), then washed at 40oc. This removed all staining. ...
