It is a bright, sunny August afternoon, and you are enjoying a drink in the pub garden with your friends. When someone taps you on the shoulder, you irritably turn around, assuming it is the waitress. Instead of the clumsy teenager you were expecting, you are faced with a delicious man, who feels instantly familiar, but you can't place him.
He is wearing a smart grey suit, with two-day stubble, tousled hair and chocolate-brown eyes. In an lilting Irish accent, he tells you that you are the most beautiful girl he has ever seen, and tells you he wants to whisk you away to The Ivy for dinner. Suddenly, you realise that this man is a famous actor who is the star of the latest blockbuster, for which he was paid millions of pounds.
You open your mouth to reply, but then you get a whiff of him. He stinks of stale sweat, cheap deodorant and fags. What would you do? If I were put in that situation, I would assume that he doesn't place any importance on hygiene, and send him on his way. If he doesn't smell good, I'm not interested.

The scent itself, when you first spray it, is reminscent of air-freshener. It is sharp and tangy, with a strong citrus flavour. It smells cheap and nasty - not very pleasant, really, but give it ten minutes to settle down and the smell will improve!
Once the scent settles, the sharpness of it is softened. It is still quite sharp, but is much less of a shock to tthe senses! It smells fresh and fruity, like green apples and tangerines mixed together, but the jarring tanginess of it stays, which is really offputting.
The website informs you that violet, oakmoss and sandalwood forms the basis of Tommy Girl. Sounds good, but I have no idea what any of those three things smell like!

It would suit people who are not fussy when it comes to perfumes, and are looking for a cheap and cheerful scent, but I think the majority of females would hate it! I would imagine this giving older people a terrible headache.
On my friend, this smells marginally better than it does on me, slightly more fruity and less tangy - next time you're in Boots, give it a test! I doubt you'll love it but it may smell better on you than it did on me.
Tommy Girl is available in various sizes, and is relatively cheap for a perfume. My 100ml bottle cost me £25 from The Perfume Shop, but you can expect to pay more in places like Boots, Selfridges, Debenhams, etc.
Give this to your girlfriend if you must, but she'll most probably thank you profusely, then throw it away. You have been warned!

...visits I was sprayed with Tommy Girl by Tommy Hilfiger. The knowledgeable sells assistant told me that this fragrance was “inspired by the wildflowers grown in the American landscape”. Hmm, it did smell nice, but would Shane like it. The reaction that he gave me was one of smiling, then a kiss on the cheek. Yes I think he liked it. On closer inspection I found that if I brought an EDT along with a body product I could also get a tee shirt. As I was ... ...the offer.
The Tommy girl according to the advertising agencies is ‘a free spirit: independent, secure and fun as well as sexy and honest.’ It appeals to the modern woman, a real person in her own right. The confident woman who is ‘sexy because she's herself and attractive because of her unique style and freedom of spirit’. It is for the girl that shines out from the woman and visa versa.

...abroad, he bought me some Tommy Girl from dutyfree. It was the new fragrance at the time and everyone was raving on about it!
Well I quite liked the smell, it's light and sporty and sweet and very fresh.
The packaging was ok, nothing to write home about.
I wore it for the first time on a day out with the family, by the time we had got to the place, the perfume had gone!
It was soo light that it didn't stay on long, and it seemed that it didn't ... ...in saying that, the perfume didn't last and I wouldn't buy it again.
It was a bit of a waste of time as I sprayed on extra squirts to be able to smell it and then it didn't last on me.
I know that a lot of people rate this perfume really highly, but I'm afraid that it didn't do much for me because it didn't last long enough on me to appreciate the scent of it!!
I thought that maybe it was one of those perfumes that you can't smell but others can, ...

...been a fan of the Tommy Girl fragrance. While coming back from my holidays in April since I had a long wait at the airport I decided to look around the duty free. If you had not spent money and were going away this is not a good idea because you will probably spend most of your money here. Luckily, for me I was returning home and so I had some extra money to spare on the beauty products but only one really caught my eye because I had never seen it ... ...the glass. With the classic tommy girl logo on the front in white stands out boldly on this beautiful background. It is like the warm golden sky fading into the colours from the sky to the blue sea. The lid is also a gold metal white is unusual and again attractive with Tommy Hilfiger carved into it. The bottle is also one with only three faces instead of being a regular shape. The box it comes in is thick card and it is like a watercolour painting ...

...F.A.B!! My only complaint about Tommy Girl is the price, it's just so darn expensive!!But aren't they all, come to think of it. It must say something though, that despite the astronomical black hole it leaves in mine, and millions of other womens' bank accounts we still choose to buy it!! Tommy Girl is, without a doubt, the best perfume in the universe, and I would totally recommend it to everyone! So if you haven't tried it yet then what's the matter ...

it was quite strong. They do recommend that this is a great fragrance for summer and I do see what they mean as it's very fresh and fun and perfect for summers days in the park!
The bottle is made of see-through glass and the edges bend it at the top. The bottle stopper is in a top-hat type shape and is made of chrome. This comes off to reveal a spray action with which to apply the perfume. On the front of the bottle are the words TommyGirl printed in white writing. Again, I find the bottle quite stylish, clean and fun and in keeping with their fashion range.
The colognespray comes in different sizes. For a 30ml bottle you will pay approximately £24 depending on where you buy/offers available etc, a 50ml is £29.50 and a 100ml bottle is £41. They also do a really nice range of TommyGirl body lotions as well to go ...
