"Tomorrow, when I think I'll watch the film again"

To summarise, it is a story about a group of teenagers in Australia who go camping one weekend, and return home to find their country has been invaded by a foreign power and all their families and friends are either captured or killed.

I really enjoyed this film, as a gripping but easy to watch story. It's aimed more at teenagers, probably up to people in their twenties. I'm a 20 year old female, and although I enjoyed most of it, there were bits that were a little too cheesy and made me cringe!

The storyline is fantastic, it's original and interesting with plenty twists to keep you watching. The characters themselves are also very good! I particularly liked Ellie, the main protagonist, and Fi, who maintained a little comedy value while still being serious when needed.

Some of the CGI was dodgy at best, and parts of the plot were fairly far-fetched, but the scenery for the rest of the film made up for the CGI, and the far-fetched parts of the plot can be excused because the rest of it is so good!

Overall, I'd say this is an enjoyable film is you're aged 12-22 and looking for an action film that relies as equally on relationships and an interesting story as it does on guns and cars! I enjoyed it so much I just downloaded it for my kindle! Lets see if the book is as good as the film :)

Welcome to Ciao - a good start there. You could expand on the details a little bit i.e. Is there anyone famous in it? What era is it set in?
