It comes in a box in kit form which is easy to assemble although took me 20 minutes as even the feeding tray is in two sections. Once assembled it is sturdy and functional, although I would prefer the feeding tray to be a little wider to accommodate a plate. The feeding tray is about18 cm wide and is suitable for the base of a bowl.
The four positions pretty much overlap one another but it can be used in are variety of ways. Firstly, it attaches with a strap to the base as well as the back of an adult chair. Unfortunately the catches let this strapping down as they become unlatched quite easily under tension. In fairness there is a warning to this effect on the box.
The feeding tray can be used whilst attached to an adult chair or one can push the seat right up to the table and not use the feeding tray, to include baby at the family table. The chair may also be used on ground level and ensures baby finishes his meal as he cannot go anywhere once strapped into this seat which has a three point lap harness. It can also be used as a play seat.
The seat is easy to clean, made of hard plastic and is durable and light to transport. I personally would not go to the trouble of folding it up if I was transporting it, but it does fold down to a compact size and is suitable for taking on holiday.
