It has two wide shoulder straps which cross over the wearer's back and a wide back support that goes around your waist. The whole front folds down to get baby in and out although we both find it hard to get the clips back through their respective holes to secure it.
There is a part at the front which folds up and down to support babies head which is particularly useful for newborns or if baby falls asleep.
Baby can face outwards as well as towards you which is good as baby grows up and becomes more interested in seeing their surroundings and less in seeing your face - ha ha!
It washes well in the washing machine and the fabric has remained nice and soft.
It claims to allow nursing but I cannot see how this is at all possible. I think you would have to be a contortionist to do this or have a strange anatomy!
Comfortwise I have absolutely no complaints. It has always seemed extremely comfortable and I love the wide waist support and the soft shoulder straps.
The main negative to the carrier is that it is a bit fiddly to get baby in and out especially compared to the ease of some other types of sling carriers. It does take quite a bit of practice and the heavier the baby the more difficult it becomes. I usually help my husband to do up the buckles or else he has to use the mirror.
Overall it's a good quality baby carrier at a reasonable price and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. It is comfortable for both adult and baby and the only negatives being that it's tricky to get on and impossible to nurse in.
Advantages: You can carry your baby facing you or facing outwards in total comfort. Disadvantages: None that I can think of.
I bought one of these for my first baby, it was a god send, you can carry your baby in 2 positions - facing you or facing outwards. I found facing them towards you when they are small is better as they cant see much from birth anyway. As they get older they can see better so changing the position means they can see where they are going. I also used it with my second baby which helped me a lot as I didn't have to push around a double buggy, I had ... ...a single pushchair, great for looking around shops.
The material inside is like a fleece, it is so soft and snug, it still feels like this now after lots of washes. (machine washable). It also has a storage pocket and a dummy holder which is great for when your baby spits out the dummy!
It can fold out flat so you can put your baby in and out so if they have fallen asleep you can easily get them out without waking them.
It does say on the box ...

Advantages: 2 way facing Disadvantages: Uncomfy, fiddly, expensive
We thought that one of these would come in very handy when our little one arrived, however this carrier was a nightmare to use, we have the click and go version. Firstly it is so difficult to adjust, after only 5mins of wear the adult part digs into the back of your neck, the waist part rides up too high. The baby part looks comfy and for putting the baby into it to face you is straight forward, but trying to put a wriggly baby if facing out is impossible, ... ...itself is very secure once clicked together but taking the baby out again is virtually impossible as you have to slide your hand between the baby and your harness, from between their legs and then find the fiddly clip, by which time there is a stressed out baby and mother!!! It is also difficult to clip the baby harness to the adult harness with the baby in it. Nice idea but doesn't work. It is also quite pricey and friends have much better carriers ...

Advantages: closeness, hands free Disadvantages: hugs chin when facing outwards
something supportive, sturdy and that would last. He was already about 15lb, so I didn't want to buy something we'd only get a month's use out of. The TomyFreestylecarrier had a large, padded velcro strap around the waist and back as well as an adjustable clip, very thick shoulder straps, and velcro around the baby's legs as well as a plastic clip so that he's safe in there but can be taken out easily. My decision was made, and I paid my £24.99 to the cashier happily.
With a little practice I was able to slip the carrier over my head whilst holding the baby, get him into the carrier myself and do up all the neccessary clips. I left one leg hole closed each time (alternating sides, as the adjustible clip that went over the velcro seemed to loosen slightly, and also he was growing so quickly the holes needed widening!). In order to get him ...
When my wife became pregnant we sat down and wrote a list of all the stuff we would need for our little bundle of joy. I'd often seen people out and about with there cute tiny babies in the little pouch on their front and thought it looked cute. I really wanted one but I was sure that it would be a complete waste of money. I really thought it would be a five minute wonder that wouldn't last um...........five minutes! How wrong was I?
We got our sling from Argos and it cost us just £12.99. I thought this was a bargain considering some can cost up to around £40 which I was not prepared to pay. It is blue in colour and has a little 'Tomy' logo on the front.
Our baby was born and I was dying to try this little contraption out so we thought we'd go out for a walk. It took us about 20 minutes to actually get the sling on and our baby ...
Advantages: easy to use comfortable to wear Disadvantages: not so easy to adjust once on
i bought this in desperation one day while shopping in meadowhall. my little one screamed blue murder in the pushchair so this was a last resort buy. we chose this one purely because it was the cheapest one in mothercare at £24.99.
i really liked the colour which was also a big plus. having taken it out of the box in the shop we set about putting it on my husband.fitting it on yourself is very easy.there is a velcro waistband and then a large plastic clip for added security. you put it over your head then fasten the velcro and clip on your left hand side, very simple.
i would say however it is not the easiest to adjust once it is on and i would reccomend you get someone to help you adjust it the first time you use it.
once you are in it is time to put little one in. again this is very easy to do on your own. the babycarrier ...
