I thought it was about time another of Baby Hope's Christmas presents was reviewed and present better to write a review on than the one that she plays with constantly. These very simple plastic eggs are now a firm favourite of hers (and mine!) and entertain her for hours at a time! What are they? They are six plastic eggs which slot onto an 'egg box' and break apart. Inside each egg is a colourful chick which squeaks when pressed down. Availibility My daughter was bought these eggs for her first birthday, they were purchased from Tesco and were about £10 at the time however I have just looked them up on Amazon for this review and they are selling at £5.80 which I think is a fantastic price. The eggs can be bought from many places such as Toys r us, Tesco, Asda and online, the eggs are created by Tomy which is a leading name in childrens toys. I have a young nephew who is 16 months old. As he is too young for a chocolate Easter egg, I decided to get him an egg-themed toy (as well as some books) for his easter present this year. After reading reviews online and doing a bit of research, I finally decided to get the Tomy “Hide ‘N’ Squeak eggs” for him. (I will confess that I gave him this toy ages ago, as I couldn’t quite manage to wait until Easter and was desperate to see his reaction!!) Tomy Hide 'n' Squeak Eggs This was another toy I bought for our grad daughter’s first birthday and another one that was a great success. It needs no batteries and makes little noise as the action needed to achieve a small squeak is quite tricky for little ones yet despite this our little one loves them. I brought the Tomy Hide 'n' Squeak Eggs as a present for my daughters first christmas. I came across them whilst looking around for a few little, affordable bits to go with her main presents - stocking fillers if you will! I brought the eggs from Amazon.co.uk for around £6.00. I'm not actually sure what offline shops sell them as I haven't seen them in shops but if you type 'Tomy Hide 'n' Squeak Eggs' into a search engine, there is a long list of online retailers which sell them.
