    My son, George (now 2 years old), was a lousy sleeper. As a baby he would wake every couple of hours for a feed. We would make allowances for him as he suffered from eczema, and we blamed the itching for waking him up. By the time George was 11 months old we could not stand the frequent night wakings any more, so we started a sleep program with him. I think George was suffering from lack of sleep also. The first night, we put him to bed, wound up his mobile, said our goodnights and left the room. He was fine until his mobile ran out.
