I think this is the best safety gate around. I got mine when my son was 9 months old and still use it now and he is 4 years now.The gate is made of a see through mesh not the vertical metal bars like others and that was the main reason I bought it I thought that he would not be able to get himself stuck in it by trying to climb through it. Also it is able to fold down and go into a bag for easy transportation. Unfortunatly you have to take it down every time you want to go through it(unless you climb over it). It is excellent value at only £19.99 and Mothercare, Argos and Toys R Us also do the same sort of gate.
