    It was a big milestone in both my daughters' lives when they moved from a cot to a bed and I was quite keen that this would be a good experience for them so that they would not long for the security of the cot. This was vital when my elder daughter was moved to a bed because we were going to be using the cot for her younger sister - so we had to get it right! The biggest problem is always going to be the problem of accidentally falling out of bed.
