Smells lovely, is gentle and leaves face feeling refreshed Advantages: Does its job perfectly, great for normal skin Disadvantages: Body Shop prices! Is quite expensive for the full size bottle Well I bought The Body Shop vitamin E facial set, which ultimately included cream cleanser, moisurising cream, night cream as well as this toner... so I only sampled the smaller version, but it's the same stuff. I just have been unable to afford the larger bottle yet at approx £8! Anyways though, if you can afford this range of skin products I'd def recommend it - they're wonderful products. My chops are so toned! Advantages: Everything, it's Olay! Disadvantages: None I can think of! As far as I can make out the product I'm reviewing is the revamped one of the one on the review photograph. I cant see anywhere that the one on the photo still exists and mine does so seeing as no one has put a review here anyway I shall! The Packaging: It's a 200ml Clear plastic recyclable bottle with a dark blue screw on/off lid. A turquoisy/light ... ...it says Olay. In blue writing it lets us know what it is and that it contains chamomile & Witch Hazel. Little usual gold Olay symbol which is a ladies face. A Quality Toning Lotion Advantages: Impressive ingredient list of plant extracts. Disadvantages: Possibly not for those with sensitive skin. ...examining the wares on the Decleor counter in a local department store. I had noticed previously that this counter always had an impressive look about it - clinical looking and orderly. The published policy of this company includes a statement that it “combines the purest, most potent and natural ingredients”. This seemed a reasonable place to seek out something new. The “Lait Démaquillant” and the “Lotion Tonifiante” were recommended for my skin ... ...fact it is recommended by Decleor as being suitable for all skin types. I wondered if it was just not gentle enough for my needs. I persevered with it and now after a few months of use I can give a more rounded opinion. My skin has remained clear, blemish-free and appears very fresh and healthy looking. The promise of a refreshed complexion is delivered without a doubt, and of course very clean skin is the best foundation (if you’ll pardon the pun) ... Does the job - but not so hydrating! Advantages: Smells nice, no harsh chemicals Disadvantages: Left my skin very dry ...am a huge fan of The Body Shop in general and have so far been highly complimentary about their products I have used, despite them being a bit more on the pricier side. ~~Packaging~~ The toner is a part of the Vitamin E range and therefore matches all the other products in this range. The bottle itself is a pale pink colour, the top has screw top but also has a flip section as well. As with most of The Body Shop products the label itself is very ... ...name and main ingredients. The packaging informs you that the products is alcohol free and suitable for all skin types. My Experience Simple is a brand recognised for their care and consideration for sensitive and oily skin. I happen to have both so i decided that it was worth a shot. I had also approached a beauty consultant in Boots and she had reccomended the skincare regieme to 'cleanse, tone and moisturise' every morning and night to clear up skin altogether. So i bought the simple cleanser and toner and to complete the set a oil control, shinefree ... ...regieme' before and was pleasently surprised with the results good skincare can do and what an extra couple of minutes every morning and night can make. Suddenly i was getting less spots and the spots i did get weren't as blindingly obvious as before and cleared up within a few days. My skin was more even and refined and the need to use tonnes of foundation to cover up those inconvienent little lurkers wasn't as neccassary as before.
