Ive always suffered with a little excess fat on my belly, some may say its puppy fat! Expensive but worth it

Advantages: Benefits can be seen, comfy, user friendly
Disadvantages: Pad replacement, cost

Shock or contractions?

Advantages: I think it does work the muscles.
Disadvantages: Prickly shocks.

It is a belt that is battery operated, you wrap it around you stomach muscles and the one I had you could also wrap around your thigh though not at the same time. A wonderful product!

Advantages: It really works, great for toning hard to tone areas like lower abs
Disadvantages: very fiddly to set up, takes time to get used to the sensation

...using my Slim Gym, my Rio Arm Toner and my Slendertone Max Belt. I emerge from the mass of straps with a toned and firm body! The intensity control on the Slim Gym, is designed well so that if you turn the machine off on the max intensity setting, when you turn it on again you have to reset the intensity. Review of Rio SLIM GYM

Great product but not without flaws

Advantages: Really works at toning muscles, great incentive to exercise
Disadvantages: sticky pads not sticky enough, intensity control too sensitive, can cause bruising

...this as I own a Rio Slim Gym, that comes with adjustable straps, so I simply use 2 straps on a tight setting to secure the pads in place and this seems to work very well. Anyone not owning a Slim Gym could probably make their own straps out of fabric and velcro, or even just use large rubber bands to hold the pads in place. The second problem is that the intensity control is very easy to knock accidentally with the result that I have, on several ...
...and using my Slendertone and Rio Slim Gym products helped give me the confidence to start exercising. Also the more toned muscle you have the better these products work so they act as an incentive to exercise in my experience. If Rio were to sort out the problem with the intensity control and also included supporting straps with the product I would have given it 5/5. ...
