Disadvantages: sticky pads not sticky enough, intensity control too sensitive, can cause bruising

...this as I own a Rio Slim Gym, that comes with adjustable straps, so I simply use 2 straps on a tight setting to secure the pads in place and this seems to work very well. Anyone not owning a Slim Gym could probably make their own straps out of fabric and velcro, or even just use large rubber bands to hold the pads in place.
